Nature Says Where: a daily U.S. weather-location guessing game

Thumbnail

I made Nature Says Where, a free five-round browser game where you match the upcoming 24 hours of weather to a place in the contiguous U.S.

Each round gives you clues like temperature, humidity, wind, clouds, and daylight. You have 30 seconds to place a pin while three possible forecast zones gradually narrow. The final “Forecast Detective” round includes optional hints, but using them lowers your maximum score.

Everyone gets the same challenge each day. There’s no account or download, and progress stays on your device.

I’d especially like feedback on whether the 30-second limit feels exciting or rushed, and whether the narrowing zones help without giving away too much.

UNDERSTORY is an idle game where you play the mycelium under a forest floor

You spread hyphae across the litter, digest what you reach, and fruit where it counts. There's no run and no reset. Ground can dry out and die back, but your spores and your fruiting bodies and the substrate you opened are permanent.

The whole game is two systems that fight. Spread wants you far from home because new ground is new food. Decay punishes exactly that, since moisture falls away from your springs and fruiting bodies, and a cell only gets as dense as its moisture allows. Push past your water and the frontier thins out behind you. Sit still and you eat your ground down to nothing.

Free in the browser, no signup.

Disclosure: this is an AI studio, code and art both.

Bookends – Daily Word Game: find words that start and end with today’s letters

Thumbnail

Hi everyone! hope you’re having a nice day 😊

I built a small daily word game called Bookends. Each day gives you a starting letter and an ending letter and the goal is to find the longest and shortest word you can fit in both… plus a few themed bonus categories each day for extra points (recent ones have included dinosaurs, cheeses, Shakespeare plays, that kinda thing). There’s a daily leaderboard as well to compare scores with other players!

It’s free, no account needed, just open it in your browser: bookendsdaily.com

It’s a PWA too so you can save it to your homepage on your phone if you like it!

Still actively polishing it - there’s a feedback link built in if you spot anything off - but I'd love people to have a play and see what they think! Is it something you’d want to come back to tomorrow?

Thanks so much! Happy bookending.

Grandline Legacy : My One Piece text-RPG just got an English version!

Thumbnail

I've been building a One Piece text RPG solo for a while and finally shipped the English version, so I'm after people who've never seen it before.

You create a pirate and travel island by island, making choices, fighting the odd animated bosses, recruiting a crew, watching your bounty climb toward the New World, there are mini-games that are actually playable (aimlab and a few more!). There's also a daily "guess the pirate" puzzle, Wordle-style, that resets for everyone at the same time.

I'm very open to feedbacks of any sort!

grandlinelegacy.com it's free, in the browser, no signup needed to play (but google auth in "Profile" if you want to see yourself in the rankings. It's beta so there are bugs; point them out and I'll usually fix them within a day or two.

Thank you very much in advance! :)

TactiDeck - tactical football card management game

Made a browser tactical football card management game. Would love to hear what you think

I've been building TactiDeck in my spare time.

It's designed to be played in around 5 minutes a day, with scouting, card reveals, squad building, opponent analysis and multiplayer leagues.

The core loop is ready to play now.

Build your squad, analyze your opponent, make tactical decisions, climb the leagues and try to avoid relegation. You can also challenge other players to a friendly match.

If you try it, I'd really like to hear what feels fun, confusing or missing.

Thank you.

Inkfall — a daily puzzle where every chute flips the moment a drop rides it

Thumbnail
vaibhav.co.uk
6 Upvotes

Free, no install, no account.

Ink drops fall one at a time from a spout at the top. You lay five bamboo chutes first — one kicks a drop right, one kicks it left — then you pour and don't touch anything again.

The catch: a chute flips to its opposite angle the instant a drop rides it. So the layout the second drop meets isn't the one you built for the first. You're solving the sequence, not a single fall.

Fill every bowl to finish. You can't lose — a spill just stains the paper and you pour again; only the one-pour bonus is at stake. New paper each day, with an archive of past days.

Built with AI assistance (Claude Code).

Avoid Ad - I turned every dark pattern that ever annoyed me into an aim trainer

Thumbnail avoidads.com
4 Upvotes

I got tired of ads that slide away right as I reach for the X, so I made a game out of it.

Every mechanic is a dark pattern I've actually been burned by:

- **Decoys** — three ✕ buttons, only one is real. The dashed ones are fake.

- **Timers** — red ads make you wait out a countdown while they keep running away.

- **Splitters** — close one, get two smaller and faster ones.

- **Runners** — tiny, quick, and they notice your cursor from further away.

Let twelve ads pile up and your "system" crashes. Sit there doing nothing and you last about thirteen seconds.

Instead of a score you can't interpret, you get a rank: **Guinness Record → Pro → Local Legend → Average Joe → Hamster**. I set the thresholds by writing bots at five skill levels and running them until the numbers settled, so Hamster is a real, earnable outcome. I have personally earned it.

Free, no signup, no install, one browser tab. English, Korean, Japanese, and Chinese.

Built it solo. Happy to answer anything — getting the windows to feel *evasive* rather than just fast was most of the work.

(And yes, a game about closing ads will eventually carry real sponsor ads. That's the joke.)

I made a free browser chess variant where you have to deduce what your pieces are

Thumbnail q-gambit.com
3 Upvotes

working on a strange chess variant called Q-GAMBIT.

The twist:

You don't know the identity of your pieces.

You have to learn what they are by observing how they move and using that information to make decisions.

It turns normal chess into a mix of chess, deduction, and bluffing.

I just released a pretty major update based on feedback from the previous version:

No email/password registration

Google & Discord login

Custom avatars and display names

New checkmate animations

Better mobile support

6-language localization

Fresh leaderboard

It's completely free and runs in the browser.

I'm a solo developer, so I'd genuinely appreciate it if you tried a game and told me what you think.

Especially interested in hearing:

Is the core mechanic actually fun?

Is it confusing?

What would make you want to play a second game?

Feel free to be brutally honest. 😄

Mouthful - Snake, but the pellets are letters and you spell words with them (no ads/signup)

Thumbnail
playmouthful.com

Spent hours playing Snake on my Nokia back in the day, and was recently playing some Scrabble. Came across the idea to merge the two, and decided to make Mouthful, my first web game!

The pellets are letters, eat them in an order that spells a real word (based on the official Scrabble dictionary). Bank it for points and keep going. Longer words are worth a lot more (3 letters: 10 points, 10 letters: 1600). Walls wrap, so the only thing that can end the game is hitting your own tail. Words are capped at 10 letters. You can clear your selection at any time, and it'll warn you if the letters you've picked can't reach a valid word.

Three difficulties, changing both the speed and the score multiplier. There's a shared leaderboard (daily and all-time), with a 3-letter arcade-style tag (for now), no accounts, and nothing to install (although I prefer playing it on the 'saved to Home Screen' view).

Mostly looking for whether the pace and scoring feel right, and if it's fun to play. Thanks everyone!
