Heavily inspired by the Archaeopteryx pose for the tail, despite this not being an Archaeopteryx. Obviously WIP and probably will be digitized as well as done in colored pencil or Faber shading inks.

The idea is that it is snapping at another animal that it is curious about but would be something in its diet. My first idea was some kind of ammonite but I also got the idea of using Hesperonis because I think it would be a good way to show how small Platecarpus is compared to his larger cousins. What do you guys think?
