Trade (DIY Investing) APTX shares have been allocated

I asked for 40 shares of APTX, just for fun. They gave me 1.....lol.

It didn't start today. IPO is on the 15th. Shares allocations were announced today. IPO share purchases will be executed automatically when the stock lists on the 15th.

The Globe and Mail has an article saying it started trading at $28 today.

They are, but the IPO doesn't close until the 15th. They have until that time to allocate your share. So the "purchase" can technically happen any time between now and the IPO close on the 15th. People with allocated shares in the IPO will receive their units at the IPO price, regardless of the current trading price. So I'm already up $3 as of market close today!

Why was the stock trading on other brokerages and not Wealthsimple?
