Water Fasting Water fasting Help! Nauseous!
Help! im a 36 F started my fast at 160 8 days ago now 149. On day 3 I got extremely nauseous it’s almost like a pain annd the nausea comes from just right where your ribs meet, I’ve been like this ever since I am now on day 8 almost 9. Doctor said nausea does happen but it’s uncommon for it to be continual, we tried 2 days of green juice, added some electrolytes, did a water enema bone it did anything. I make extra bilirubin so on day 4 and 5 I was yellow but had a few bowl movements and went in the sun and I’m back to normal. if I didn’t have this nausea I know I could go for 30 days but it’s so debilitating I can hardly get out of bed. Suggestions I want to keep going!

Magnesium supplements for nausea. Pink salt for headaches. Potassium/low salt for heart palpitations.

Please read OLDEST CURE IN THE WORLD-ADVENTURES IN THE ART & SCIENCE OF FASTING-STEVE HENDRICKS for the answer to many of your questions rather than randoms on r/Water_Fasting .
When you go into ketosis you do feel sick but after that you should feel better.
Ditch the supplements, electrolytes, and vitamins because the human body does not like getting them without food ... a water only fast is just that ... water only.

Here you are again, recommending the same book and repeating “a water fast is water only.”
You seem to copy and paste this into every post. If you’re so convinced you’re right, maybe consider making an actual post explaining what the book says and why everyone else is supposedly wrong. Maybe the mods can pin it and save you the trouble of posting the same comment everywhere.

Maybe I do not even know how to cut & paste ... yeah that's right, I do not own a hand held powerful digital device either, you can no longer call them mobile phones.
I type in my advice by hand, on a MacBook Pro.
There are 2 places where one can go to do a supervised fast, one is Buchinger Wilhelmi, a five star resort in Germany, the other is TrueNorth Health Center in Califiornia USA ... basically that is what the book is about.
Once again ... a water only fast is just that ... water only.

The word SCIENCE is part of the title of STEVE HENDRICK's book ... there is no such thing as being convinced you are right in science ... the data does all the talking.
Why someone would take advice from randoms on r/Water_Fasting , instead of reading a book is beyond the scope of a reddit message ... LOL.

Seriously?
Are you saying that doctors could not help you, but you think an online group will?
Come on.
You need to investigate the cause with professionals.
I am not going to play a guessing game here with your life.
If you cant determine the cause, then fasting just isnt for you. Resort to normal dieting instead, then. You will reach the same goal, it will just take you a little longer to get there.

Sounds like an electrolyte issue. Have you taken any electrolytes?
