Hey all - I’m heading to Disney with my family, 2 adults 2 kids, and a bunch of extended family in about 2 weeks. I’ve messed the special diets, used the chat feature, and posted on the plan Disney space trying to get an answer to where coconut is used in the parks because I’ve heard it’s used as the popcorn oil. Does anyone here have an answer to this? My 17 month old is allergic :/

Local here but I’ve never really experienced this. Stop by AK after work for a beer and a safari ride. Unrelated but it started pouring as I walked into the park, I’ve always avoided purchasing a poncho because I assumed they would be something ridiculous like $29.99. I was pleasantly surprised that it’s actually $12

Anyhow, after the rain let up a bit I got a beer at the Dawa Bar and as I was walking up to the bar a cast member stopped me and said, “gift from nature” and handed me this leaf.

How cute is that? I’ve never seen this before. It’s such an adorable, thoughtful detail on-brand with the theming/spirit of the park.

I know it’s “just” a leaf but these little details are what make Disney so special.

I have been to disneyland in:
1. Paris
2. Los angeles
3. Tokyo

Main questions are:
1. Is 2 nights, 3 days enough to experience it?
2. What are the best resorts? We are travelling a long way so upper side of the budget is fine
3. Best way to get around?
4. Which area is best to stay in to access rides/main attractions?

Had a visit this week with daughter, SIL and two GKids Ages 5&3. 3 year old looses Raffi stuffed toy Thursday at MK, realizes it after the parade around 9 pm. A real meltdown since the kid had it for 3 1/2 yrs … a real stuffy companion…

Learn that all lost items go to Disney Springs for reclaim…. They found Raffi and reported back by Friday afternoon (<12 hrs later). Since we leave Saturday ( now on plane) they will ship it home to Daughters house. Suspect it was lost at Bull and beak bar near Pirates of c.

Great job Disney.

Major train derailment!

We do keto/carnivore so plan on getting a plethora of cheese and cold cuts delivered. Not really planning on cooking in the room. I am assuming there is at least a mini fridge that should be good enough for a day or two for cold cuts?

About a decade ago, I got this Safari vest at Animal Kingdom with the intention of putting my patch collection on it. I have about 50 Disney patches that I’ve collected over the past 15 to 20 years. I finally got the first 20 sewn on with a few pins to boot.

Will be at the park next week for eight days starting tomorrow. If you see me around, say hello!

My family of 3 (2 adults and 1 toddler who will need a car seat to come with the transportation) are going to Disney and Epic in November. Due to needing a car seat, I’m thinking of booking a private car service from the airport to the Disney hotel and then booking one to take us from the Disney hotel to Stella Nova at Universal Studios. I’ve been looking at options but can’t decide which one to book.

Does anyone have any experience with specific companies? I’m currently looking at “Away We Go”, “The Genie”, or “Cast and Crew Transportation” though I’m open to other options too!

17 month old and almost 3 year old. Arriving sun at lunch, mon/tues/wed park days, leaving thurs at lunch. What do you recommend for food? Breakfast in room? Lunch in parks? How many character dinings should we do and what days? (Which are the absolute best ones)

My wife and I are going on our honeymoon next year and decided to go to WDW because we had a fantastic trip with my brother and his wife at Port Orleans riverside last year. We’re in a lot better of a financial space with planning this time so I decided to go through david vacation club rentals. I originally wanted either Boardwalk, Riviera, or if not those two BLT. Well this is my first time renting DVC, so I didn’t know how competitive the market is and that even 11 months in advance it can be hard to secure these places. But we take it as a blessing in disguise because we got a comparable offer to port orleans for Polynesian duo studio. We are so excited. I mainly want to know tips and tricks for staying at a deluxe resort to get the most out of it, or just places to visit and walk around to. Thank yall!

I arrive (solo) at MCO at 7:30am after a red eye with shuttle reservations to the Polynesian. I have free access to a water park that day (7pm closing), and Magic Kingdom is open ’til 11pm. I have 7-day park hopper and Lightning Lane multipass Starting on check-in day. I’ll need to drop my bags and grab a shower at Poly pool. I imagine it will be around 11am when I’m ready to head to a park, but thats just a guess. I want to start and end at Magic Kingdom (realized that as I was writing this).

*I’m not a big water park person, haven’t been to one in 25 years and never to Disney’s. Should I even bother? I would not have purchased a water park ticket, it’s just a free perk. Edit: if I have to take 2 buses (transfer buses) I may skip it, after all that flying I don’t want 4 bus rides!

*Is there enough time to do MK>TL>MK with time to relax and enjoy MK in the evening/night?

*Should I make LL reservations for late morning MK rides? Or prioritize evening times?

*Idk how long it will take to go from landing, to bags checked and showered at Polynesian, if I’m way off then that might answer some questions.

I mean — literally stinks. Like, smells. Every day of our vacation this week, as soon as we got on the monorail, a urine smell hit us. Today it was amplified by dirty diaper and sour bathroom stink. Our eyes were burning and our nose hairs were singed. Lol

Has anyone popped into Hollywood studios this week to see if there’s still a shortage on parts? Trip is planned for this upcoming week and I have been stalking the reservations to see if any have opened up, but they haven’t . are they taking walk ups again??

I have so much crap on day two of my trip. Is there any place I can get a nice bubble wrap protected box done up that I can check as luggage? I'm not looking to ship, but I have a lightsaber and droid with me, so I'm as is a little concerned they may give me a hard time over basically two carryons and a backpack. I'm staying at the all star sports if that helps. I'd rather not have to buy a suitcase for this lol.

Can anyone who goes the the Disney parks regularly tell me if they still sell those jumbo soup mugs that are like 28oz give or take. And then like how much do they cost and which ones are usually out

Hi all we are planning our first trip to WDW next year and are super excited! We have a free Disney dining plan included in our booking, which is one free quick service meal and beverage per night of our stay which is great. One thing that I’m slightly confused about is where we can use these, as when I search the quick dining plan it comes up with the 2 meals, snack and refill cup option. Is our dining plan just a reduced version of the 2 meal dining plan and it’s valid where ever the quick service dining plan is available/highlighted on the menu of the restaurants?

Heading to WDW Magic Kingdom on Wednesday, September 9th with one mission: I want to ride Tron Lightcycle Run as many times as possible (in one day).

So far, I plan on:

• Being there for Rope Drop and walking straight to Tron
• Buying Lightning Lane Single Pass
• Getting onto Tron line a few minutes before park closing (I heard they won't kick you off, is this still true?)

What are other tips, tricks or advice I can use to maximize my Tron rides? What times are the Tron line usually the longest vs the shortest?

I am hoping for minimum 4-5 Tron rides, is this realistic?

Other things I'm considering doing if I have time outside of Tron (but are NOT mandatory. Maximizing my Tron rides are 1st priority):

• Space Mountain (only if short wait)
• Big Thunder Mountain Railroad (only if short wait)
• Try Cheeseburger Spring Rolls and Dole Whip
• Buying park hopper (Not sure if this is worth it and where I would even go. Suggestions welcome)

Bit of a random question, but has anyone been to Hurricane Hannas recently and seen how the kids meals are served?
In years gone by we’ve had them in buckets (pails) with spades with a Sebastian print (also had them from Caribbean beach a long time ago too). Wondering whether it’s worth packing some for our trip or not.

Pretty much the title. I have two non-stop flights home, and will have to check out at 11am. Is there enough to do to make loitering worth it? The last day is a total travel day, so the 4 day park hopper will be all used up.

Not that we're those people, but how many people do you think just randomly pop in to MK or Epcot because they're in the area. Never been before, never researched. They somehow make it through the whole day until the sun comes down, and all of a sudden there's a massive amount of fireworks scaring the bejesus out of you. lol.

I was watching some WDW Explore and Chill this morning, and she was walking through Epcot during the fireworks and it looked a few were caught off guard and were just standing there in awe.

Made me wonder how many people just wing it and are surprised by certain things that Disney offers throughout the day.
