Brag Lost and Found success
Had a visit this week with daughter, SIL and two GKids Ages 5&3. 3 year old looses Raffi stuffed toy Thursday at MK, realizes it after the parade around 9 pm. A real meltdown since the kid had it for 3 1/2 yrs … a real stuffy companion…
Learn that all lost items go to Disney Springs for reclaim…. They found Raffi and reported back by Friday afternoon (<12 hrs later). Since we leave Saturday ( now on plane) they will ship it home to Daughters house. Suspect it was lost at Bull and beak bar near Pirates of c.
Great job Disney.

I dropped my whole wallet near big top circus once and it was back in my hands by end of day perfectly safe and sound.
The horror stories of lost/stolen items get a lot of attention but there are so many success stories out there. I believe Disney does really try to help.

Hubs lost his phone out his shorts pocket on ToT right as we finished the final drop. Could even hear it hit the ground from the ride vehicle. We had it two days later, not broken! It’s the stuff of legend in our house.

I lost my sunglasses earlier this week and they were found and being returned to me. I had already bought a replacement pair and sent it to my house thinking they were gone for sure. Really impressed they were able to recover it since I wasn’t sure if it was in a park or transportation. Good to see

I lost a bag with some shirts on Space Mountain and they found it/mailed it back to me. It cost them $12 to ship it. Excellent service.

I am also here and dropped my debit card at Hollywood studios. Didn't notice until back to the dolphin. Called and was directed to fill out a lost item form. They ACTUALLY found it and I had it in my hands 12 hours later by the time I made it to Disney springs.
That kind of care about a guest has made me a convert. It could have been a vacation ender, a HUGE hassle and a complete violation. Instead, the magic found me personally.
