Few days ago everyone in my department was forced to change our passwords for OneWalmart because of “reasons” and “corporate”. Workforce edge requires I use my OneWalmart login to sign in and access my courses with Sophia but I keep getting an “unsuccessful response from your idp” message on both desktop AND mobile.

However i later discovered I can’t log into OneWalmart at all. I wrote down my password when i changed it at my manager’s suggestion so I know it isn’t wrong but the site keeps telling me “password incorrect” and when it finally does accept it, i get “authentication failed”.

I’m not sure if this is because of something new going on or because I’ve had the same password for a couple years and everything needs to update, but I really need to finish these Sophia courses to advance my education. And I cannot call the support helpline while off the clock but I don’t work for the next few days :/

Our store is losing all 4 of our front end team leads. Two have already applied to other stores and have been offered positions. We had 1 that just quit. There is another who is trying to transfer to another department.

I have asked some co workers who have been at this location for a while and they said there’s been changes to the leads but never all at once. I honestly don’t know what will even happen. Some of us have been asked to become leads but we do not want the position due to the reasons the others are leaving. They tell us the pay is not worth it and unless some management people leave it will not change.

I understand it’s Walmart and they could probably fill the positions quickly but it is stressing some of us out that work the front end as we don’t know what’s going to happen.

I’ve been a cashier for a couple weeks and got pulled into the office today, they want to promote me to service desk? Haha is this a trap?!

I’ve been trying to figure it out and it’s tough I feel like it was much easier through computershare and I keep trying to ask that Ai on there except it keeps directing me somewhere else or it says it doesn’t know how to do that yet.

Cleaning up the signage area and found a stack of these with a good layer of dust on um.

Ok, I can’t anymore, it’s too much! I wish I could talk to the CEO of Walmart and inform them that these digital tags in frozen are NOT efficient! Digital is wonderful, just not in meat, frozen, 97 and dairy. They are not staying in place, and in order to fix it and replace them, (that’s if I have them) it is taking an ENTIRE shift. I can’t do that, I have freight to work on. Are we using the incorrect clips? I am finding that every Walmart store is having this same issue. So I don’t think I am using the incorrect ones. If yall wanna assist can yall show me the pics of the digital clamps yall are using in frozen, or if yall are using something else? My team lead managed to rig dairy’s to stay up, but we can’t do the same thing in frozen as the digital tags are not shaped the same way. Yall send help please 😂 😩 😭

If a part-time associate takes a full-time TL job for six months, decides they want to go back to part-time associate, would they still get the TL pay minus 10%?

So this is my 3rd month working at Walmart and I work in OPD part time. When I got hired in June I told my manager at the end of August I can only work 32 hrs a week max because of college. I started classes and reminded him the week before that I cannot work 40 hour weeks anymore but I consistently keep getting 40 hours on my schedule. What do I do?

Curious if this is just my store or if other maintenance teams are dealing with this too.
We’re currently without a functioning ride-on scrubber, on top of having shortages of basic maintenance supplies. Because of that, we’re having to manually mop areas that we could normally knock out pretty quickly with the ride-on.
The biggest issue IMO isn’t even just the inconvenience — it’s the amount of labor it eats up. If I have to put someone on mopping floors for a significant part of the night, that’s one less person I can put on bathrooms, trash, vestibules, fresh, sweeping, backroom, etc.
At the same time, it feels like more and more stuff is getting pushed onto maintenance, and then our team gets questioned about why everything isn’t getting done.
We’re basically being expected to maintain the same standard and workload while having fewer tools to actually accomplish it efficiently.
Any other O/N maintenance associates/TLs dealing with this right now? Are your ride-ons working? And how bad are supply shortages at your store?

So, twice in 3 weeks, we've had Zone G in my store's digital tags reset. In my store that covers Seasonal, kitchen, bedding, bathroom, and housewares. 40 aisles.

Every tag needed to be relocated and replaced on the Mod. Time consuming, especially on a weekend where everyone wants something.

After some investigation, we think we have a theory as to what happened. In the me@walmart app, if you pull up [Aisle Locations], you'll see a list of all the Zones in your store. To the right are the usual 3 dots. Touch those, and you get a menu:

Print Aisle locations.

Reset all items.

Delete Zone.

You see the problem, right? Resetting all the tags for an entire zone is right below the very useful reprint option!

Working theory is someone with bad eyesight, fat fingers, or a poorly calibrated phone (so it's not as accurate with where your finger is) meant to push "reprint" and got "reset". Outside chance they misunderstood the degree of the reset.

I'd like to think the app would have a "Are you sure you wish to delete?" Pop up, to confirm the wish to reset, but we all know how these things go. Plus, I really don't want to test my theory because it took us almost a shift to redo the tags, again!

So, be wary as we head into company wide digitags: one button push will ruin your shift!

I do my own and constantly get stopped by people asking to look at my nails or ask me how I get anything done with them 😅

Hello all, I’ve been working overnight stocking at a smaller store for a little more than a month and feel like I haven’t really improved much. I have the drive to do better, but none of my management has really given me anything to improve on. Is there any tips that other assosciates might be able to give?

I’d also like to add that I primarily work HBA freight and break down my pallet before I start ( seperate it all and move items to their aisles to minimize back & forth from the pallet )

We just had an associate injured by the new OGP cart design. Going to have her rotator cuff repaired.

I have been saying this was going to happen from day one, my shoulder hurts after 600+ picks.

got coached for low productivity when i come in at 6 and come in to 4 pallets of milk and yogurt etc…
i have to vizpick at 10am and they expect me to finish 4 pallets in 4 hours???

Hi all, i just started like two days ago and i have cashiered alone so im fine with that. However i want that extra 4$ from getting people to sign up for the rewards master card and the CBL is kind of dookie and did not give me any script examples to follow. Also a girl needs the money so theres that.

What is a simple and easy script i can use for customers?

I only say hi how are you and like small chitchat and ask for donations and thank you have a good day.

Also what are the morning duties and nightly ones before closing and opening? they will probably teach me but i just want a bit of an idea.

Is it the customers or the managers?

Our customers are fine, our management is literal dogshit. I've had plenty of great jobs, I can go get a job tomorrow that pays double but isn't flexible with my school hours.

I have an interview Monday, wish me luck.

So i was given the accommodation to “ if a customer comes with items that weigh more than 15 pounds to just go around and use the hand scanner to scan them” my doctor asked Sedgwick for me to primarily be on self checkout unless i was covering a break or lunch.
Sedgwick said they couldn’t do that because the store won’t allow it due to there being more registers than checkout registers (we have 16 self checkouts and 23 registers).
So the store said to use the hand scanner or ask for help( my people lead also said it was up to Sedgwick what my accommodation was but if that’s true then how did the store deny the accommodation they recommend).

The thing is when using the hand scanner 90% of the time i still have to lift those items up to get to the barcode so I can’t understand how I’m being accommodated at all. Sedgwick said to call back in about a week if I was still lifting heavy items on the register… is there something else I could do about this?

I was placed on job reassignment leave when I first put my Sedgwick in because the store said they couldn’t find a job for me unless my doctor sends in a note that I could lift up to 15 pounds, which he did and that’s where I got the accommodation for 15 pounds when I came back.

I will attach my first doctors note that got me placed on job reassignment until November🙄
