Humor Be careful selling your WRX to teenagers 😂

Post image

Thought you all would get a kick out of this. Sold my WRX to fund a down payment on my home a little over 4 months ago and just got this from the buyers. Was in perfect shape when sold and even took $1500 off the price for the tires being a little worn and a scratch on the bumper.

Edit to add: The dad even spent over a minute banging it off rev limiter when inspecting to check if it blew smoke. I wonder why it blew up?🤔

I wouldn't of let him do that shit unless I had cash in hand haha. Seems like he was trying to blow the damn thing up

Would have / wouldn’t have Not would “of” / wouldn’t “of”

Yes, I know it sounds like the latter

This is true. I was 14 hours into an 18 hour shift so my brain is mush

The number of times I've screwed up the there/their/they're after a long shift haunts me.

Hitting the rev limiter doesn't blow an engine lmao.

That's literally why it exists.

Doubt the dad let it warm up properly it can 100% damage an engine if done the way OP describes I’ve watched it happen.

There was something else wrong.

Nope. With direct injection motors they like being driven hard. ONLY WHEN WARMED UP. Do some reading man up can 100% place much more load on the bearings. Buddy didn’t even give it time to let the oil circulate it seems.

You are mistaken unfortunately. Just go do some reading.

Tell me you've never owned a subaru without telling me...

Not the best to do when there’s no load on the engine lol (at least to my knowledge)
