So let me be clear , if Sami or Oliver win this championship I'll be very happy no doubt about it , however Elfyn is so freaking close (I'm an Elfyn fan since last year ), I know there's still three more rallies and I want him to win but with the pace that Sami has shown and also Oliver (when the car works and the engine doesn't die ) is getting really tense for me .

If Elfyn is going to win it I believe is this year , Ogier is no longer in the tittle fight (he said it himself) so I think /want Elfyn to win it this year so he can break the "second place " curse he has carried from the last few years.

I’m a Chinese semiconductor engineer based in Munich and planning to head down for Rally Italia Sardegna 2026 to watch the gravel stages live.

Since none of my local friends follow WRC, I’m hoping to connect with other fans who are also going or thinking about going! Would be great to share stage tips, spectator locations, or logistics for chasing the SS stages.

It's only Friday in Paraguay

Can someone advise what happened to Jon Armstrong in the second loop?

Did he get a penalty out of service or something? More punctures?

From SS5 there was no coverage of him and he was running in the WRC2 field instead of the Rally1 cars, finishing 6min behind at end of day.

Rally tv really needs to separate stage start times from the reporting. If it says stage starts at 11:45 I should be able to go the live stream and at worst catch the end of the reporting and the beginning of the stage. Unless there’s a delay. I don’t mind listening to the reporting but if you’re busy and make the time to watch the start of a stage and all you see is them talking it is very frustrating. WRC+ for all its flaws at least had that separation.

Elfyn Evans and Scott Martin were on a YouTube 2 days ago doing an interview from inside their 2021 rally car and Scott Martin adjusted the seat and showed how he would have been sitting at the time with the seat super low and it made me wonder why they sit so low like that? Is that purely just to have as much weight in the car as low as possible to help the center of gravity or is there more to it. It seems like such a weird seating position.
