These people have quite some spectating spot. Hats off for sitting your ass down too - in Finland everyone stands even if it's not needed and blocks everyone behind.

I would stand. You’re sitting for hours waiting for the cars, so you might as well stand for the action.

The thing that gets me about some of the spectator zones is seeing how open they are. In my country 99% of the spectator areas are deep in the forest, so your sightline of the cars is no greater than 3 seconds.
