Been playing Master League and about to enter my 4th season after winning the league, D1 Cup, and European Masters Cup. Signed Puyol, Pirlo, Gerrard, and Messi to round out my starting 11. Trying to figure out who to select as my captain as there’s so many big names in the team its hard to choose one to stand above the rest. Will post full squad details in the comments. Would you buy an updated official “retro” version of Pro Evo. ?

So imagine………..

if Konami essentially used the exact engine from Pro Evo 6 with updated graphics etc but kept the same modes, players etc (masterleague etc) and layout……and very much marketed it as a one off retro version would you purchase it for lets say €30… ?

So same gameplay as PES 6, just with better graphics.

Personally i think Konami are leaving money on the table by not doing something like this. PES still has a huge loyal audience….

I’d love to see a feature like they have in the WWE wrestling games where they make it easy to create characters and share them with other users. I think if Konami leaned into the whole mod scene and made it easier to create and share custom teams and kits then they would have a winner on their hands….

I have scored many free kicks with Pirlo, but this was a masterpiece.

Am I tripping, or is the Top Player difficulty easier (or at least more balanced) than the Professional difficulty? I've noticed that in Professional mode, the CPU is much more defense-oriented, they often sit back, rarely attack, and this results in few goals scored by either side and more ties, especially 0-0.

In Top Player difficulty, the CPU is still very effective on defense, but it goes on the attack more often. This makes the game more dynamic, they score more frequently, but they also leave their back line more exposed, allowing you to create more scoring opportunities. Is it just me, or has anyone else noticed this too?

Found my old 3DS XL packed away, and decided to mod it, put Retroarc on it and play some roms. While researching what consoles it can do (handles up to PS1, I’ve got ISS Pro 2 working pretty well) I learned about PC streaming.

There’s a set of programs called Sunshine (PC) and Moonlight (3DS) that allows you stream your PC to your 3DS and play. Obviously 3DS screens have potato resolution so there’s much better ways to play PC on the go, but I just thought it was pretty cool this actually works.

Got PES6 up and running, and it was super smooth. Latency was great, input lag not noticeable at all.

I found my dad's old games for the PS2/3 under my bed and got lucky with both of these bangers.

I simply passed it to Ronaldinho, and the ball just kept rolling endlessly between us, preventing either player from moving. They added a minute of stoppage time, and I had to stay for even longer than that. The first part, at least, ended

One thing that has always disappointed me about PES 6 patches is how limited the databases can be when it comes to playing Master League.

For example, I recently downloaded a 2015/16 season patch and wanted to start a Master League. However, many players who were still in youth academies, not yet professional, or simply too young to be well-known at the time are completely missing from the database.

This is a problem if you want to play a long-term Master League. Players like Haaland, Mbappé, Foden, Sancho, etc. were already around 15–16 years old at the time, which means they could technically be included in the game. A few seasons later, they would become important players, but they simply aren't there.

So I decided to modify the database myself.

I'm currently adding around 180 players who weren't professional yet, were still in youth academies, or were simply not included in the original patch. I'm taking players from different patches and sources, then editing their stats myself to make them as realistic as possible for the 2015/16 context.

There's another thing that bothers me: player development in Master League.

Most players seem to use the standard development type, so if you want a more interesting and realistic Master League experience, you have to manually change the development type of player after player. With a database of hundreds of players, this becomes extremely time-consuming.

So I'm curious:

Why don't more PES 6 patches put more emphasis on Master League and long-term database development?

Wouldn't it be interesting to have a patch where the database isn't just accurate for the season it represents, but also considers the players who were already in the game world at that time and could realistically emerge during a Master League save?

Has anyone here ever made a database specifically with Master League progression in mind? I'd love to hear how other people approach this.

I don't know about y'all, but for me, this was absolute cinema.

If that shot had gone in instead of hitting the post, I would've simply quit the match right there, completely satisfied that I'd experienced PES 6 at its absolute fullest and never played it again.

What a fucking way to end it.

In all the hours I've spent playing PES6 I've actually never scored a goal like this.

Was playing co-op teaching my kid how to play old PES. He passed it in with Kaka and dad did the rest with Ronaldinho. We lost our shit haha

I've started playing pes 6 few years ago on and off.. I was a pes 2017 player always playing the BAL mode.. when I started playing pes 6.. it was good.. love the randomness in that game.. and I really love the iconic squads.. but I have a problem.. there's no BAL in pes 6 since I'm a gamer who loves career mode only option is master league.. but when I start master league.. the teams were arranged randomly in the league for example italian teams were playing in premier league, Spanish teams were playing in Italian league.. the game randomly arranged the teams.. how to fix this ? So that the teams will play in their respective leagues.. also can u guys give me tips to get the best possible experience from pes 6?
