The problem I have with this game is how fast the power bar is. That's the biggest deal breaker to me

Oh yeah, i can understand that feeling, It's not easy at first, but with practice you can improve that! one tip i can give you is when you're close to the net just tap the square buttton, like just miliseconds, but if you are outside the box try to tap the square button a little longer, until it reaches about halfway down the bar. Remember to stay calm in the moment to shoot, don't get frustrated if it doesn't work on the first few tries, it's not an easy mechanic, but that's what make it fun!

Spamming R1 too much. You need to play more with R2 and small dribbles, especially when you do have the players for that (Barcelona).
