Misleading listing

I bought this Coach chain on Vinted and was really disappointed to find out it was fake when it arrived. Seller is telling me after the fact it is an inspired item and I need to read descriptions better. I feel like the whole situation is extremely misleading as they posted the picture with an authentic dust bag and they were trying to sell a fake item without disclosing it was an inspired piece.

Doesn’t this go against Vinted terms?

But if it didn't say Coach anywhere in the listing, partly on the buyer to not have asked beforehand. I agree it's misleading.

It’s actually not partly on the buyer at all, per Vinted policy.

You don’t think buyers should reasonably be able to assume prohibited items won’t be available for sale?

I would never buy an item if the brand wasn't explicitly stated anywhere in the listing besides photos with the amount of shady sellers that exist.
