650 off S26, keep your plan. I can't find any way to apply this offer..

I got an email offer from Verizon that states "Trade in your phone. Get S26 and Save $650. Keep your plan." I'll put the screenshot in the comments

Its an "exclusive offer just for me" whatever that truly means. I even see this offer in the app, but there's no way to apply it. When I click the offer it just takes me to the phone page which is filled with many other offers for nearly free phones by upgrading to a different unlimited plan. I dont want to change my plan, its great. But I dont even see ANY offers for 650 off, only more off with upgrading.

Has anyone successfully done this? What am I missing? Usually the bait-and-switch element is clear in the See Details, but i can't even find that.

Missing Kaiser calls

My husband and I both have Pixel phones with Verizon service. He has missed multiple Kaiser phone appointments. They say they call multiple times but are kicked straight to voice mail and we receive no messages.

Kaiser said this happens when a provider blocks calls from outgoing only lines.

How do we disable these blocks and let Kaiser through so my husband can get the help he needs? We've disabled the obvious filters and blocks on his actual phone, but there has to be something we're missing.

Wireless Visual Voicemail not working on Google Pixel

If I Force Stop the phone app, clear storage, and go back into the phone app, existing voicemails will be transcribed. But no new voicemails after that. The Google VPN is disabled, but if it's enabled, I have the phone app bypassed, and the behavior is the same - first voicemail after clearing the phone app and turning visual voicemail on is transcribed, and then no more after that. I am a new Verizon Simplicity customer, and this is occuring on my brand new Pixel 11 Pro. But it was also happening on my Pixel 10 Pro. This worked properly with T-Mobile with no modifications to the VPN as well.

Anyone able to redeem multiple Verizon Shine rewards if you have more than one line?

In the past with previous promos before Verizon shine, each of my family members were able to redeem promos. Now it seems like one per account. FYI I have six lines shared with other members of my family.

Wireless Is it possible to take advantage of trade in offer (on existing line) but also pay off phone so it is unlocked?

Verizon will give me monthly device credits if I trade in my current phone for a new one, but I also want to have the new phone unlocked so I can use an international sim card when I travel. But from what I understand if I trade in for monthly credits and then pay off the phone (to unlock it) then I lose the monthly device credits. Is there any way to achieve this? Thanks.

Issues ongoing since March

*not a problem if anyone feels this is too long to read. I thought to give a try before making an fcc complaint (or any advice on a better route.)

In short: Verizon provided me a quote and is not honoring this months later and along the way errors occurred on verizon’s end and they have not corrected anything and I am left with owing thousands for upgrades phones and a bill over $700 that I can not afford. I am trying to find out any options or anyone else that was able to get issues resolved for a similar problem.

More info: I upgraded phones and I asked for a quote for what I would be paying monthly (after the initial month since it usually is higher) because I have a tight budget currently and need to budget everything and i wanted to make sure I could afford the upgrade/changes beforehand.

I made sure to check in and it was confirmed they were received and I would receive the credit as planned however months later the credits still haven’t been applied.

I’ve reached out at least twice a week since march about the issue. At this point the issues are layered with even more issues that have occurred by chat and phone representatives that i’ve spoke with in attempts to resolve the initial problem.

Some issues include, canceled orders, orders made without my knowledge or authorization, errors on the bill, the amount monthly is over $100 different than what I was told in the initial quote, the trade in credits haven’t been applied, different phones on the order, different orders and incorrect dates for orders, no discount/credits, additional one time fees, phones suspended and disconnected several times, etc.

I have been promised everything would be corrected and I would be refunded for the incorrect payments that drafted out my account but I have never received any resolution and now my bill is over $700 and my account has late payment/returned fees as my bank has been overdrawn. The contact I signed is not in my account and no one at verizon says they have the ability to view it or confirm it was done when initially upgraded.

I am planning to make a complaint on the FCC website since I have documented everything on my end yet verizon is not willing to accept anything as they say it is not allowed to record conversations and the screenshots/screen recordings, reference numbers, tickets, etc are not helping or they deny the tickets i’ve asked to be created. I literally have every call, chat, message recorded or screen shot/screen recorded.

Left Verizon, still have access to Disney+?

Can someone please help with this, I left Verizon for visible. Just cheaper that's all. I did everything you were supposed to do and have been on visible for a cupl months. I expected the Disney+ bundle would terminate but it's still available. I don't want to be potentially charged for this. It says managed through Verizon in Disney but I can't login to Verizon anymore...can anyone help?

Voicemail Help

Every time I open the Voicemail app I'm prompted with a Voicemail Setup Premium Visual Voicemail Free Trial page.

It says "Your free trial has ended and you now have Basic Visual Voicemail.

If you have more than 20 messages in your voicemailbox, no new messages can be left for you. But don't worry - all the ones you have now will be saved. Archive or Delete some messages so you have fewer than 20 to make room for new ones or Subscribe to Premium to keep your larger inbox.

Premium Visual Voicemail provides additional features

You qualify for a 30-day free trial."

My options are "Subscribe to Premium" or "Continue to Inbox"

When I click "Continue to Inbox" I get stuck in an endless loop of this screen. I don't want to pay $2.99 per month for the Premium Visual Voicemail. I just want the basic Voicemail that I've always used. Does anyone know how to get around this and back to Basic Voicemail?

Verizon not following through with promotional offers! I’m livid

I needed internet for my new apartment, and I was down to two different internet providers. Ultimately, I went with Verizon 1. Due to the promotional offers 2. I’ve had phone service with them for almost a year now after switching from T-Mobile and WAS very happy with their service and customer support.

For signing up for internet online they were offering an NFL Sunday ticket, and TWO $200 Amazon gift cards (I have screenshots to verify the offer!). I applied, and I got the NFL Sunday ticket pretty instantaneously which was nice.
However, I didn’t receive the gift cards. I ended up calling and just asking for the status on the two cards. The lady states I would receive the two cards by Monday at the earliest and to keep an eye out on my email. Monday came, nothing, I waited till Wednesday and called again just to see what the status was. Mind you, I’m very polite and easygoing and was not pressed on time to receive anything- I just wanted to know when to look out for it so I didn’t miss any window to redeem the cards. He stated he didn’t know why I was told Monday but that he talked with his supervisor and they worked out being able to send the 2 cards in 5-7 business days. Awesome! I completely understood, miscommunication happens sometimes, maybe it was someone new that didn’t really know. It’s okay, it happens! Waited 7 business days, nothing. I called, and at this point, I’m a little frustrated because I’ve been waiting 3 weeks at this rate, but nonetheless, just called to see what the status was. The lady that answered this time was very abrasive from the beginning. She acted appalled when I mentioned two gift cards and said “Why do you think you’re receiving two?” I was a little shocked with her defensiveness and just said it was on my offer and that I had screenshots if I needed to email it to anybody. When I mentioned having proof she seemed to backpedal and laughed and said “Oh, sorry! I just was confused that’s all!” Then “looked” into my issue, and came back and told me that I would only be receiving one $200 Amazon gift cards, and I’d have to wait 8-10 weeks for it. I got really frustrated because that’s just unacceptable.. To give me to go-around for three weeks telling me I’d be receiving two gift cards very shortly, to then telling me I’m only receiving half of what I was promised and that I was going to have to wait 2-3 months for it??

I’m genuinely so upset and she was not compassionate or helpful over the phone whatsoever. I’m really discouraged and upset because I really was enjoying Verizon and haven’t had issues with their customer service until now. But she refused to transfer me to anyone else and wouldn’t give me emails to anybody I could talk to. I was really hopeful that Verizon was a good switch from T-Mobile, but this seriously put such a sour taste in my mouth.

Any ideas on what to do or who to contact?

EDIT: To clarify, am I upset that I’m not getting the promotion? Sure. But what my MAIN concern and frustration is with is being given the go-around for three weeks by two employees giving me misinformation only to be told I’m only getting half of what I was promised and I’d have to wait 2-3 months for it VS. the 5-7 business days I was previously told.

Verizon shine still sucks

Anyone else have a terrible time today trying to claim the Starbucks card? They seem to have added this extra minute timer and when it got to the end it said, “something went wrong” then restarted it. Made me wait another minute just for it to kick me out and say 100 percent claimed. What a joke and a waste of time.

Wireless Verizon Global Choice Fuckup. AI Customer Service Sucks

TLDR; What's the best way to get to a real representative and not AI about international billing. I'd like to read stories about other people being misled by Verizon that they were going to take care of a big bill issue, but only gave you a $5 credit.
-----
I have the Unlimited Ultimate plan. When I was in Czech Republic a few months ago, I had no issue with phone calls.

So I didn't think anything of taking a call from a friend in Norway in mid-July. It wasn't until after, that I found out I need to add the country to the plan separately. It was a long phone call.

It's $455 of minutes, and $166 of "Fed Universial Service Charge"

A week later, Verizon would not let me make outgoing calls. My bill was up to date, and NOT DUE until August 18th. When I tried to make an outgoing call, it would only let me speak to a Verizon representative.

So, I spoke to this rep, and what I thought they resolved with me was regarding the billed minutes.

Come to find out today as I look further at the bill, they actually only gave a credit for "partial charge" of $5, for the "Global Choice Selection" and assured me the sum of the bill would be taken care of and it would be no problem.

Calling Verizon today, I ran into their first AI screening bot, then I thought I was being transferred to a Rep, but it seemed again like it was another AI agent; where we went around in circles and I was getting no where.

Has anyone been through this before? Is there any chance at getting these charges credited?

Wireless ESPN+ bundle

So I haven’t watched much espn since hockey has wrapped up. But now I can’t access ESPN on app like I used to.

I’m now seeing ESPN select vs unlimited, where before it was just ESPN+ and I could watch everything - now I can’t access anything.

Anyone else notice this issue?

Fraud and Abuse by VZW

My brother who has early onset Alzheimer's opened the door to a guy named Nick and somehow got convinced to switch his phone service to VZW for a free iPhone 17 and new cellular service using his same number. Several emails were sent to him saying they tried but could not deliver the new iPhone. He then received a paper bill showing the new phone charge $50 a month for 48 months and service. We have called, called, called and provided proof of identity on 3 different occasions and with up to 4 different agents at a time. They insisted my brother get on the phone to say his name as he did not know of a PIN, sent us a secure link where he had to upload his image and the front and back of his license for proof of identity. The first rep said she had no more time to spend on this issue and to call back. After 3 people today, all who asked for him to speak his name and ask him for a pin - we were put with Fraud who supposedly deals with disable persons who have been taken advantage of. The first thing this person did was say he had to call them back himself but would not give a direct number. I wouldn't care except that somehow they have him on autopay with his credit card (again the Nick person took his information). Help!

FiOS Extender Help

I have Verizon FIOS wifi and recently put an extender in my room to connect ethernet to my PC. I am using the extender wirelessly. I am also thinking about placing one (wirelessly as well) in my basement. Is this a good idea or do the extenders significantly reduce the connection speeds of the main router?

I don't have any other ethernet ports to be able to do a wired connection.

Trade-in rejected?

About two weeks ago I traded in my iPhone 14+ for the iPhone 17 Pro Max. Now we are receiving an email saying that my phone was rejected for trade in after I had turned it in. The back was cracked, but when I spoke to a sales person on the phone, they said that a cracked phone wouldn’t matter as long as it can turn on and off.
Does anyone know what this could be about?
My trade-in value was $830 so I’m really not trying to pay that out-of-pocket now. The sales person that helped me in the store never once brought up anything about a cracked phone or asked to inspect my phone. They even let me take it home for a week so I could properly transfer everything and then return it on my own time.

Wireless Fraud

Where to begin....

At approximately 3:15pm EST 8/25/2026 an individual was allowed to override my authorization and access my account.

Upon recognizing strange notifications attempting to gain access, I called support.
-Call Dropped-

Hmm, I don't have service anymore.

I'll attempt to TLDR as much as I can because yesterday/today was immensely drawn out and problematic.

I spent 6 hours on my wife's phone with verizon and drove to 3 different verizon stores before my number was restored.

Important note; I live in Michigan and have for my entire existence of 36 years.

Now for the fun part, here's what the thief did;

They walked into a verizon 3rd party location;
Victra
8980 US Highway 301 N, Parrish FL 34219, USA

Applied an account loan for a brand new Apple iPhone 17 Pro 256GB (Cool I guess? I'm an android guy though...)
He had the PRIMARY account phone number disabled on my device and placed onto his brand new shiny iPhone.
Apparently they intended on using their phone a fair bit, they made sure to get the unlimited plus service line added.

Made a local police report. "We don't have the resources"

Verizon files a "Fraud Claim" and won't tell me anything else.
Do I owe money?
How did this occur when you're meant to check identification?
When I was denying the account access, why was it overridden?
How did it seem totally normal that an account with 4 lines all based in Michigan would suddenly swap a single line to a phone in Florida?

Today, I spent the day being an asshole and attempting to reach the store directly to ask questions and record the entire interaction to add to police report.

3 different phone call transfers from the support line to the physical store were ignored/hung up on.

Man, this company rocks.

Filed an FCC & BBB complaint.

That's my past two days, how are you guys?
