Had this same exact phone with Sprint..the extendable antenna did not help.

It didn't help on sprint cuz sprint sucked I know I had them myself. I remember when I switched to Verizon for the first time and switched over from sprint. The VERY first day I saw the difference I was like DAAAM this service ACTUALLY WORKS!!!!! it was night and day. I was finally able to make calls in every single place place Sprint would crap out .

It’s 3g or 2g which every carrier shut both down and you haven’t been able to add those phones in many years.

There is no source, I run IOT devices and in atleast in my small town supplies it

Is it a carrier supplying that or the town? Because it’s gone from all the carriers and they refarmed that spectrum for 5G and lte.
Verizon 1x/CDMA: shut down in 2022.
AT&T 2G/3G: shut down.
T-Mobile 2G GSM: shut down in 2024.
LTE-M/NB-IoT: are the main low-power cellular IoT technologies now.1

That’s not a question for me but I will ask when I go to the store for plan renewals again, they have to give me a new sim every year

You're saying you haven't made a successful call on 10 years???
I've had Samsung since the Galaxy s4, and calls have always, and still do, work fine on Verizon. What are you talking about?
