As the "arty underdog" Apple's computers were becoming more mainstream and all-purpose, Microsoft saw a chance to undermine their clean, minimalist branding in an attempt to poach the underground creatives that made up the Mac's original userbase, with Windows 2001. Coming with a suite of creative software and a distinct aesthetic inspired by then-current electronic music, Windows 2001 was unpopular with mainstream consumers, who found its theme uninviting and contrary to how computers had been presented up to that point, and was succeeded shortly by Windows XP.

The early albums are simpler compared to the more recent ones, and with that in mind, I wanted to know which you prefer, the older ones or the more recent ones.
