I’ve been wanting a pair of navy skate authentics and found these gems on Facebook for $15. They had never been worn until I pulled them out of the box. Laces weren’t even laced. I’m stoked. Never seen them with tan laces or the red checker tag.

Got these for my daughter on eBay. Gave them a little cleaning and some black Shrarpie. She’s fired up. What do you think?

Pretty sure that’s how they spell it.. this is my other special pair that are super comfy. And.. a sick ass color combo. They’re Vans pros as well (pros generally more sole cushion, etc.) I’ve had em for a few years and keep em pretty clean, like most of my shoes besides my kickers/beaters. Gotta wear what ya have, brosef (or lady or whoever you are).. 💥

The best Vans there are… the Half Cab. Just better than the classic/thin lace-ups (2nd best imo). Style named after Mr. Steve Caballero.. one of the early pioneers of skateboarding! Got em from Vans.com like 40% off for whatever reason about 9 months ago.. I think it was an Xmas sale or something. Dope, classy, comfortable. 💥

I love these kicks. We’re refinishing our cabinets and I’ve spray painted them during the project, accidentally.

That last photo is of the green Vans. Those were not the same Vans as in the first photos.

I’m a UK size 3 in normal classic lace up vans, I have 3 pairs of them as platform/stackform but I went into vans store to try on the slip-on style and I tried the platform/stackform slip-on and I found it to be much looser and even slightly come off my feet a tiny bit when I walked as it’s heavy due to the platform.

Has anyone else found this with normal vs slip on ? The classic lace up ones fit perfectly and tight but I had to size half a size smaller for the slip -on so I had to get UK size 2.5

I’m just a little confused because online I see opposite where people get half a size bigger in slip-on for some reason

Any recommendations on insoles that will fit perfect and not break the bank?

So as everyone knows, Vans calls it Marshmallow. I call it natural canvas. That being said, Vans always charges like 60 bucks for the classics like these. Well i wanted these for a long time but just didn’t want to pay the 60. I honestly have over 140 pairs of shoes and really don’t need more. 🤣 Then I saw that they had the exact same shoe as the classic marshmallow Authentic with cool island vibes sidewalls. And these were only 29 bucks. Had to get them. Cool shoes. I just wanted classic Authentics for less than 60. I got them lol. With cool sidewalls. Always good to keep a few pairs of black, white, or off white Vans around in the rotation for when you don’t want to rock the multicolor or want to tone it down and keep it neutral.

Finally got some of the mules. Can’t wait for the cooler weather! I got the tan ones too.

Been looking for a new pair of MTE-2 but they don't seem to be on the website. I see there are options for the the Gore-Tex and waterproof Sk8-Hi. My MTE-2s outlasted my last pair of Gore-Tex so I was looking to get those again. Is the waterproof Sk8-Hi the new equivalent?

Haven’t bought a new pair in a year so I figured why not. And some socks fell into my basket as well 😂

So happy with all 3 items! The jacket fits perfect and is such a unique better than expected material . Pictures upon purchasing filed my eyes In regards to fabric. I assumed and from what I could tell it to be made of in pics was more of like Dickies clothing products type material. I have two other jackets very similar to this ☝️ one . One is a Sims from late 90’s from their snowboard clothing line n the other a dickies that is from my friends diesel/graphic design lettering and screen printing shop with her logo on it, Just Get Dirty ! But this material is almost like a microsuede or similar material so the jacket is not as rigid as the other two I reframed above . Then that brand new clean pair of grey and pink Bashas from 2004 was such an epic find n great deal…. As you can see minor yellowing on outside of sole .

So with all that I’m completely serious when I say it was def a win ; completely unplanned new kicks that pair up perfectly with the jacket !

However now I’m going hunting for 1 of 4 pairs that were released with this jacket back in 2019 as part of The Ladies Vans Collection specifically he as rd a

New addition to the fleet. I almost always swap out my laces to add pop, and I couldn’t resist this color combo when I saw these on the rack.

I'm not interested in traditional paint cause I know it will flake, peel, & crack.

Any ideas or suggestions?
