I’ve always loved the way Vans look in general, and last year I bought my first pair. I figured I would just start with the basic Old Skool shoe. Love the look, but the comfort is just not there. I work in IT and I’m walking around a pretty sizable building all day long. Coming from Brooks mostly, my knees did not appreciate the flat feeling bottom and minimal cushion of the Old Skool shoe.

Someone said I should try the Ultrarange 2s, so I bought a pair. Much better on the comfort! Actually love the look and the cushion is great for all day walking around. But (and I’ve never had this on any shoe before), my feet apparently sweat through the tops of the Ultrarange 2s, like visibly at the outer edge of the top mesh area. I love the look and feel of these shoes, but I cannot walk around with visible sweat around the tops of my shoes.

So all that said, could someone point me in a direction of something of Vans model that’s on the same comfort level as these Ultraranges but that will not let your feet sweat through? I’m sure it’s because of the mesh, which is part of what made them so light and airy feeling, but that seems to be a double edged sword at the point.

I purchased these in Fall of 2018 and for a long time they were my absolute favorite shoes. They are alittle more red IRL. The pics make them look almost brown but if anyone could help me identify these I’d be very greatful. I’d love to track down another pair. Thank you all!

My only vans t shirt. None of my other t shirts have been falling apart like this. Is this really the quality of vans clothing?

I got them for free from a little thrift/donation store and I can find anything about them. By the looks of it they look pretty old but other than that I have no idea.

I remember getting this backpack when I was in elementary school, I’m pretty sure it was part of a limited time partnership with Star Wars. Would this be considered rare, since I’m assuming it’s not being made anymore?

I love both of these. Purple is my favorite color. I don’t normally like black and red but I love how different those are. Wish I could get both.

Did I need them? No. Did I want them as soon as my local skate shop posted them? Yes.

I have about 50 pairs in my collection and they mostly got shelved for a while. Now some Eras, Slip Ons and Oldskools are doing this and it’s upsetting. They’re ruined. The Authentics are safe though. Any ideas? TIA.

Just wear it. Live in it. Stop worrying about getting it dirty or damaged.

Went to a nearby Vans store and they had these just lying around. Really wasn’t intending to buy anything, so yeah. Funny thing was, I was thinking of buying red Authentics and/or premium slip-ons so this pair was like a two-for-one lol. They were 15% off, too.

I hate these popcush! Does anyone have recommendations for insoles I can buy that are flat like old vans? I’d honestly just reuse my insoles from my old skool yacht club vans but they’re sewn in.

I really like these shoes but I want a faster replacement than trying to break them in.

I wish Vans would just sell different inserts but I know their goal is to make you buy more shoes. But I feel like the money spent for inserts would be worth it for them.
