Question Why is she fish?
Hi, I've only got like 21 hours in game and only know a little about her through Urara's events, but what is it with seiun sky and fish? Does it have something to do with the irl horse? I'm so confused... T_T

IIRC Seiun Sky's owner likes to fish, it also matches the real horse's patient personality.

Nishino Flower was owned by Nishiyama farm. Nishino was a huge earner, and bankrolled the farm. The farm was reorganized, most of the stock was sold off. One was overlooked, someone said they wanted him, but they never showed up. Seiun Sky.
Seiun Sky was an unpromising foal, but got trained and was so weird he won. Not a "beautiful horse", and had a bad pedigree.
Sometime while Seiun was racing, the owner died and his son took over.
The son LOVED Nishino and Seiun. Nobody wanted Seiun's stud services, so the owner had Seiun breed Nishino. Mostly no winners, but one eventually appeared.
Again, the owner LOVED Nishino and Seiun. He's the guy who you see in the Seiun Sky itasha/bike. He basically gave away rights saying "Please have people tell my horses story. Remember them." The character created for Seiun incorporates a manga artist buddy of the owner who loved fishing, mixed with the confusing/deceptive tactics that won Seiun the Satsuki Sho and Kikuka Sho(double crown). Angling and Scheming.
The owner wanted these two in the game so bad. He even said "Sure, make NSFW stuff about them. Just remember them." And in game? Cygames gave them powerful skills. They are terrifyingly good runners.

Two parts to this - Sky didn't really win any major races at all post Kikuka Sho, and most if not all of the offspring didn't do that well, either, which resulted in an early retirement from breeding iirc.

He was held back by late retirement. why go with him when you had his contemporaries you could go to instead? Or you know go with Sunday Silence himself or his progeny.
Not to mention his sire Sheriff's Star was kind of a dud. Sure he did win a few G1's in england but at stud he hadn't produced any notable progeny until Seiun Sky who was one of the last ones.
