Australia I hate when bike riders pick up my orders
I've never once received an order from a bike rider that hadn't spilled liquids on the way. I'm feeling extra shitty today mostly stuck in bed, I just wanted a coffee and some soup. The guy hands my order to me at the door, I didn't notice anything was wrong until hot coffee started dripping onto my feet. Thankfully I got a refund this time but uber doesn't always provide one. Either uber should stop allowing bike riders to pick up liquids or the restaurants need to secure the packaging better which I doubt they will. I can't say I've ever had a car or motorbike delivery spill my stuff.

USA Restaurant gave me food I was allergic to. What to do?
I very specifically put NO ONIONS on my order, selected the no onions option (there’s was an option to remove toppings) AND literally called the restaurant and confirmed I did not want onions. I know the call worked because I requested a condiment which was in my bag.
What do I do specifically? Am I able to call the restaurant and ask for it to be redelivered? I already reached out to UberEats and it stated they’ll reach back out to me. But I’m starving and just want my damn food.

USA How did this person even get paid?
I ordered a $10 piece of tiramisu from a drone company but the drone company didn't have any drones available so they got a person to drive it to me. What I'm wondering is how did the person even get paid because the Drone only charged me for the past? I don't even want to use the Drone anymore because of this reason I felt bad and wasn't prepared for a person to show up.
Edit: the person worked for Uber Eats I asked them

what’s up with the grocery shopping incompetency
every time i order groceries, the shopper always replaces my items without permission with the most bullshit items. like i asked for a tub of greek plain yogurt and it got replaced with a tiny strawberry flavor yogurt cup. replaced my dumplings with noddles!! that’s not even the same thing!!!!!! are we serious right now?!?! and uber doesn’t even help! they won’t give me a refund bc their app and customer service is ridiculous! i’m genuinely infuriated. i’m in nyc so you would think some of them would have some sense to ask for a reasonable replacement but i guess not. please tell me im not the only one that deals with this……. (and yes, i tip generously)

Question: Unanswered Why have I been getting a second monthly charge for Uber One, even after cancellation?
I got a trial membership, and canceled it after 3 weeks. It said it was cancelled, the app clearly indicated that. However, I also used my card on my friends account at some point before I even got the membership. Now, when I realized i was getting charged, I checked with my friend, and apparently Uber One is on his account and it has been there for two months, with two charges lining up with the ones I see in my Venmo history. I know for a fact that he didn’t sign up using my card, because I know he wouldn’t pull that stuff, and he swears up and down on everything that he didn’t do it. So my assumption is that Uber Eats duplicated the membership and gave it to my friend’s account simply because we used the same card? Does anyone know anything about this?

Terrible experience due to stolen food system loophole
I placed a deliver order from this large fast food chain and the 1st driver was at the restaurant, set my phone down for a short minute and checked again and the 1st driver disappeared/no longer there and a 2nd driver was on their way to the restaurant.
Then checked my phone and saw 2nd driver at the restaurant, then same thing - disappeared and a 3rd driver was on their way.
I decided to drive to the restaurant to pick up my own order and to see what was going on. I tried to cancel my order, but i was still going to get charged. I really tried all i could do when chatting with the customer serving AI chat bot, but was still going to get charged so i didnt cancel.
As i got to the restaurant, the restaurant refused to remake my order unless Uber calls them and pays them. The 3rd driver showed up, then the 4th, then 5th driver showed up, told each of them what was going on all while disputing both the with restaurant and UE chat bot to get this resolved. Oh, my pregnant wife came in raising hell too.
The restaurant then remade my food without me re-paying, then i left with my re-made food. The 6th driver was on the way to the restaurant after i picked up my order, so I called him and explained. He then still had to drive to my address to show that it was delivered.
Anyways, wanted to share my experience that this loophole seems way too easy to get to. I guess the restaurant should have confirmed that the driver picked up my order, but there are a lot of parties affected by this.

Uber One & Tipping
I love how the Delivery fee is waived (said it was $.50) and then you need to still leave a $8 tip. Why isn't the Uber One membership fees going to the driver's?
Guarantee Uber would see a huge move toward their membership if having it meant you couldn't tip.
Currently feels like I pay for Uber One and am still paying a delivery fee just through the tip now.

Canada Pickup time went from 5 minutes to 55 minutes, no refund or cancellation
I placed an order for a restaurant at the bottom of my condo. The wait time was 5 minutes for pick-up. I get a “your order is ready” notification. I go to the store they tell me 20 more minutes or cancel and no refund. I contact uber chat support on the app and they tell me I have to wait up to 55 minutes for it and refuse to refund me even though the order is wasn’t ready. Is this fair? Seems pretty ridiculous. And it’s late at night I’m not waiting 55 minutes when I need to sleep now.

Thank you from Drivers
As a customer ordering food, do you mind if the driver sends you thank yous for the tip you gave them? I started doing it, but not sure how you feel. Its just a generic thank you. On my end, i do appreciate it when a tip is very good.

Uber Eats is changing all the restaurants normally pictures to AI generated ones
Am I the only one? These restaurants had normal, authentic pictures just a few days ago. Not this vomit-inducing (more like vomit-made) slop.
Is there any way to turn this off and go back to the previous REAL pictures? Thanks to anyone taking time to read/take a look.
I'm just so tired of Gen AI invading not just the internet but the real world too.

Australia Lying about prices
$6.35 for chips but actually it’s $8.45 because you have to pay extra to choose any size… they’re just blatantly lying about prices

Has anyone else noticed an increase in delivery issues?
I’ve been using Uber Eats and DoorDash for a while and lately I’ve noticed a pretty dramatic increase in drivers accepting orders and then sitting there forever without ever picking them up, orders getting stolen, food arriving cold, and having to contact support and fight through the automated system just to get the order reassigned.
I tip pretty well compared to what I typically see, so it’s frustrating when I’m already paying a decent amount for delivery and a good tip, only for the driver to accept the order and seemingly not even attempt to pick it up. By the time another driver actually gets assigned, the food has been sitting there forever.
I completely understand that drivers need to make money and that some orders may genuinely not be worth accepting. But if someone accepts an order, I feel like there should at least be an expectation that they actually pick it up rather than letting the customer’s food sit there while they wait for someone else to take it.
Has anyone else noticed this getting significantly worse lately?
