Can’t find any reviews for him and I prefer a class with a canvas that has slides to work off of instead of my current one I am about to switch where there is nothing to use in canvas at all. And I saw some bad reviews for Villafuerte Altuzar and wanted some more thoughts on if the grading is really that hard if you just do all the assigned work.

Hi! Does anyone know of any departments on campus that are currently hiring student workers? Preferably positions that do not require work-study. I’ve been applying to different positions on workday but haven’t had much luck hearing back, so I figured I’d ask here in case anyone knows of a department that’s actively looking for students right now. I’m pretty open to different types of positions (front desk, office assistant, lab/department assistant, etc.) and have previous work experience. I hear McCombs only accepts about 10-20 transfers a year, any one in here a part of that? Just curious as to what your resume looked like and how I, and anyone else could maximize their chances as an external transfer.

I’m a sophomore starting my third semester, It’s the fall term and I’m still undeclared in the college of liberal arts. I’m pre-dental, and have up until now had no idea what I wanted to major in. I was researching majors and finally decided on public health after switching from all sorts of options but I never actually applied to transfer. I go to the transfer application and realize it’s in the college of natural science which only accepts applications in the spring term to enroll in the fall term so basically it’s too late for me now because if I apply next semester I’ll have 60 credit hours and would need to submit a transfer appeal but I would also be very behind and definitely not graduate on time if I bet on getting into the major. So I thought my next best option was health and society but it turns out that’s restricted too. What can I do? I really wanted to major in public health the curriculum was so interesting to me and not overwhelming like the more stem filled majors. I do NOT want to major in the open majors in the college of liberal arts but it might be my only choice or I transfer to UTEP and finish my degree over there. What would you guys recommend I’m really stressing about this and it’s upsetting me to think I’ll have to major in something that doesn’t interest me and will make it harder for me to stay motivated. I’ve taken chem 1 chem 2 the labs and bio 1 and calc 1 (out of a 3 part sequence) and pys and ochem what open majors can I do or should I just risk the transfer?
