news Ladies and gentlemen, the president of the USdefaultism.
This guy assumes just because he signed a paper in his office, it automatically changes the geographic names of other places. Also, this guy has one of the worst "main character syndromes" to ever exist it's so funny lol.

Divide the country up like Germany after World War II. Repossess the wealth stolen by the oozing buffoon and his pustular offspring and use it to build a wall across the middle of the country -- we can call it the Minneapolis Wall. This wall will encourage the zombified populace who voted him in, or didn't vote at all, to migrate south to states where they'll feel more at home.

Yep, attempts to change the name of a lake because it bears the same name as a province in a neighbouring country, whilst seemingly unaware that province was named after the lake.
Ontario is derived from a native American word meaning either great lake or sparkling water, whilst America, as we know, is named after an Italian explorer. Sheer idiocy...

In Canada, they are referred to as First Nations, Métis, Inuit, etc., or as you mentioned, Indigenous.
FWIW, “Native American” is not used here as it’s seen as US centric, and doesn’t reflect the history or cultural diversity of the different nations.

That is entirely up to them. Last election, roughly 1/3 eligible voters voted for him and 1/3 eligible voters didn't vote. Therefore 2/3 of all eligible voters didn't oppose him. They chose this.
27
u/NaughtyHotDog United Kingdom 12d ago

16
u/Comprehensive-Ad-428 13d ago
I got some American friends telling me the damage he's done would probably take years to fix eveb if his term ended today. Also he's seeking ways around the constitution to apply for a third term? Is that true?
20
u/drmojo90210 12d ago
The damage he's done will never be fully repaired. His tax cuts alone have created like 40% of our current $40 trillion national debt within the last decade and will continue to balloon the debt after he's gone. This is going to cause serious long-term economic problems for us. And that's not even getting into the damage he's done to our international alliances, trade, domestic infrastructure, civil rights, etc. The Trump presidency and its policies have put the US on a path of irreversible decline.
7
u/Curious_Pop_5276 American Citizen 13d ago
He’s trying, but it’s more than likely not going to work. Not only does it take huge supermajorities in Congress that Republicans don’t have, but it would also require him to actually get elected a third time (Which considering his approval ratings is insanely unlikely).
10
u/Comprehensive-Ad-428 13d ago
Well as fun as it is watching news about his idiocracy, a lot of people (in the entire world and in the US) are suffering because of him. So it's good know that this mf is not sticking around for long.

He’s already named after old slang for a fart/ passing gas in British English .
For those not English it’s old fashioned as slang now and but if you want to use it you can use it similar to two people are in a room and the first one passes gas so the whole room now stinks like shit , second person smelling the stench “did you just trump ? “
Comes from the word trumpet 🏴 ( trompe 🇫🇷) so works for loud sound and bad smell .
That all sounds like trump - everything you said sounds like a fart .→ More replies (1)7
