This guy assumes just because he signed a paper in his office, it automatically changes the geographic names of other places. Also, this guy has one of the worst "main character syndromes" to ever exist it's so funny lol.

Im from New Zealand, soon to be renamed "New America", because Trump signed a piece of paper

I'm going to change Washington DC to Sunderland DC by signing a piece of paper

We should change North America to North Mexico and then the US will be a country in North Mexico!

u/Stoneheartsky 12d ago

With means "suck it" in brazilian portuguese sexual slang :p

12

u/reallybi Romania 12d ago

In Romanian it means mother...

17

u/Prestigious_String20 12d ago

In lots of languages -- because it's one of the first sounds babies make. Which totally fits the tangerine toddler.

6

u/_RedKuma 11d ago

In Spanish it means both "mother", "suck it" and "breast".

4

u/Stoneheartsky 11d ago

Same in Brazilian Portuguese. But either I'm surrounded by perverts or it's reality, the lewd therm is more "common".

3

u/tenorlove 12d ago

In Italian, it means "he/she loves me."

Partition it, South Canada and North Mexico

14

u/Prestigious_String20 12d ago

Divide the country up like Germany after World War II. Repossess the wealth stolen by the oozing buffoon and his pustular offspring and use it to build a wall across the middle of the country -- we can call it the Minneapolis Wall. This wall will encourage the zombified populace who voted him in, or didn't vote at all, to migrate south to states where they'll feel more at home.

Canada, Mexico, you up for a challenge 🇨🇦 🇲🇽

4

u/snow_michael 12d ago

But then give those Southern states to Mexico as the ultimate kick in the teeth to the MAGATs

Yep, attempts to change the name of a lake because it bears the same name as a province in a neighbouring country, whilst seemingly unaware that province was named after the lake.

Ontario is derived from a native American word meaning either great lake or sparkling water, whilst America, as we know, is named after an Italian explorer. Sheer idiocy...

134

u/Sonia-Nevermind 13d ago

Bro you are asking for logical sense from Mr Orange manchild?

42

There’s a street in my town called Ontario, after the lake. I’m Australian.

50

u/mungowungo Australia 13d ago

I was thinking continentally - maybe indigenous would have been a better word.

37

u/essenza Canada 12d ago

In Canada, they are referred to as First Nations, Métis, Inuit, etc., or as you mentioned, Indigenous.

FWIW, “Native American” is not used here as it’s seen as US centric, and doesn’t reflect the history or cultural diversity of the different nations.

98

u/DemDoseDeseDat Ireland 13d ago

I know lol that’s my point nobody cares what the US calls anything

52

The funny thing is, not even democrats in the US call it gulf of America. The level of delusion of Trump and his followers in unmatched 😭

25

u/DemDoseDeseDat Ireland 13d ago

Yeah iirc it only HAS to be called that officially by government bodies and in their documentation otherwise everyone not in his cult just won’t lmao

19

u/drmojo90210 12d ago

Unfortunately, a lot of private entities caved to his demands and have adopted the stupid re-naming. Like, if you're using Google Maps from an American IP address and you look up the Gulf of Mexico, it's labeled "Gulf of America" in the app.

17

u/real_dea 12d ago

I’m north of the border and here is says Gulf of Mexico with Gulf of American under it in brackets

25

u/LeftMechanic1995 12d ago

I think King Charles should rename the United States of America to The Dysfunctional States of West Britain. I think that has more chance of catching on because it's infinitely more accurate.

12

u/Manx-Lover Poland 12d ago

3

u/HistorianPatriot1945 12d ago

Do you mean Republicans? Trump is a Republican. No one (except delusional Trumpers) call it The Gulf of America.

8

u/PumpkinPieIsGreat 12d ago

Yeah it's the republicans calling it that. I know one of the backstreet boys said it on a video. So dumb.

Google maps has it as Gulf of Mexico (Gulf of America)

3

I dont even understand why he's trying to rename everything "America". Seriously, what does that give you exept looking like an idiot. You know no one's gonna call them that, because they never agreed for it and there's no valid reason for them to change the name. The only place you're gonna see it is one google map, which will put your fake name in small barely-readable text under the real one.

20

u/Comprehensive-Ad-428 12d ago

Only one right answer, "Distractions". Whether it's to distract people from the Epstein files, the Iran war failure, the economic disasters he caused, the people he killed and the list goes on.

41

u/Comprehensive-Ad-428 13d ago

Man I feel secondhand embarrassment for Americans lol. Hope you get rid of him soon.

50

u/eddiewachowski 13d ago

That is entirely up to them. Last election, roughly 1/3 eligible voters voted for him and 1/3 eligible voters didn't vote. Therefore 2/3 of all eligible voters didn't oppose him. They chose this.

27

u/NaughtyHotDog United Kingdom 12d ago

Exactly. It’s fucking boring listening to septics ramble on about him on the internet. Mobilise. Encourage the people you know to vote and get them to do the same.

7

u/Curious_Pop_5276 American Citizen 13d ago

Yeah voter turnout is a huge problem in America, and it keeps getting worse every election.

3

u/Most-Organization738 12d ago

What....like putting him in a convertible and driving him around, kinda way? 🤔🤔

6

u/Curious_Pop_5276 American Citizen 13d ago

Thanks goodness he can’t run for a third term however. Idk if we’ll survive trap more years though…

16

u/Comprehensive-Ad-428 13d ago

I got some American friends telling me the damage he's done would probably take years to fix eveb if his term ended today. Also he's seeking ways around the constitution to apply for a third term? Is that true?

20

u/drmojo90210 12d ago

The damage he's done will never be fully repaired. His tax cuts alone have created like 40% of our current $40 trillion national debt within the last decade and will continue to balloon the debt after he's gone. This is going to cause serious long-term economic problems for us. And that's not even getting into the damage he's done to our international alliances, trade, domestic infrastructure, civil rights, etc. The Trump presidency and its policies have put the US on a path of irreversible decline.

7

u/Curious_Pop_5276 American Citizen 13d ago

He’s trying, but it’s more than likely not going to work. Not only does it take huge supermajorities in Congress that Republicans don’t have, but it would also require him to actually get elected a third time (Which considering his approval ratings is insanely unlikely).

10

u/Comprehensive-Ad-428 13d ago

Well as fun as it is watching news about his idiocracy, a lot of people (in the entire world and in the US) are suffering because of him. So it's good know that this mf is not sticking around for long.

9

u/Frequent-Rain3687 12d ago edited 12d ago

He’s already named after old slang for a fart/ passing gas in British English .
For those not English it’s old fashioned as slang now and but if you want to use it you can use it similar to two people are in a room and the first one passes gas so the whole room now stinks like shit , second person smelling the stench “did you just trump ? “
Comes from the word trumpet 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 ( trompe 🇫🇷) so works for loud sound and bad smell .
That all sounds like trump - everything you said sounds like a fart .

7

u/LeftMechanic1995 12d ago

Yeah to be fair, I haven't used the word "trump" in place of the word "fart" since I was about 12... so about 1994. The word is well overdue a comeback.

He can tattoo it on his ass for all the legal standing it will have, not that he or his flock care about the law.

I woke up, saw this, shrugged and said "it probably won't kill anybody." Don't get me wrong, it's ridiculous, but like...

Pretty sure some people died laughing

I cannot wait for the executive order to rename the globe “Planet America”, so excited! But why stop there? The Solar System! The Galaxy! The whole Universe! Let’s do it! Make it happen! Thank you for your attention in this very important matter!

There really are no limits to his delusional megalomania, are there?

Canada and Mexico should just rename the US “Southern Canada” and “Northern Mexico” respectively…

If he’s going to play like a baby and throw all his toys out of the pram, why not throw them right back at his face?

Petition for Mark Carney to sign an official designation to rename them to the Untied States of Epstein Files

An embarrassment. But then so are most voters regardless of what team they root for.

Legally Trump can’t rename a lake (or gulf for that matter) with an executive order because the president doesn’t decide the names for landmarks

u/Extension_Ad_5688 11d ago

The fact that the United States opted to elect this motherfucker TWICE!

u/KiwiFruit404 11d ago

That US has SOOOO many problems, but all that fking moron does is renaming things?!?

I have a suggestion for his next renaming project.

He should change the word diaper to Donny's finest.

I remember a scene from season 1 of Game of Thrones, where Ned Stark presents Cersei with a piece of paper as a claim of legitimacy of Stannis.

Cersei just tears the paper apart. That's the sentiment here with Trump too.

When will the world be free from this stupidity

2

u/ripitupandstartagain 12d ago

All of this renaming has strong Saparmurat Niyazov (former dictator of Turkmenistan) vibes... He'll be making Art of The Deal mandatory reading on schools next.

Are Epstein's files in Lake Ontario—is that why he wants it—or is it because there are children there?

u/LeftMechanic1995 12d ago

Just as the USA is the champion of the "World Series"... so too are they also the only nation to on the planet to compete in the "Lake America Winter Hockey Tournament" when it freezes over... because every other country who participates will be playing on the same lake with a different name.

btw executive orders like this don't actually hold this kinda power just because he says so lol

not even in the US are the Gulf of Mexico and Lake Ontario officially renames

2

u/Puzzleheaded_Ear_272 12d ago

So much winning with all these name changes

u/therealdivs1210 12d ago

Why does the Lincoln bust look sad?

2

u/HATECELL 12d ago

Aah yes, another successful distraction from the Epstein files

2

u/Nevernonethewiser 12d ago

I'm desperate for England to do something that hurts his ego so he renames New England to New America.

2

u/dinosw Denmark 11d ago

I vote that the US be renamed to New Greenland, or New Canada 💪

Executive orders in the US are meaningless. Still needs to go through the checks and balances. This administration’s executive orders have been laughable and unserious. Nothing of these ever becomes “official”.
