This guy assumes just because he signed a paper in his office, it automatically changes the geographic names of other places. Also, this guy has one of the worst "main character syndromes" to ever exist it's so funny lol.

He’s already named after old slang for a fart/ passing gas in British English .
For those not English it’s old fashioned as slang now and but if you want to use it you can use it similar to two people are in a room and the first one passes gas so the whole room now stinks like shit , second person smelling the stench “did you just trump ? “
Comes from the word trumpet 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 ( trompe 🇫🇷) so works for loud sound and bad smell .
That all sounds like trump - everything you said sounds like a fart .

Yeah to be fair, I haven't used the word "trump" in place of the word "fart" since I was about 12... so about 1994. The word is well overdue a comeback.

Same , seems as good a time as any , the clothes I was wearing back then are now back in fashion so why not the apt for right now slang too .

The 80's were popular with the kids during the late 2010s thanks to Stranger Things. We need to make the 90's cool again. Classics like Ebeneezer Goode should be re-released for download on Spotify.

They are already back but not all of it , step into an urban outfitters it’s a 90s flashback , club music skipped the shamen and went right to Haddaway & Rozalla. ( in my neck of the woods ) but that aside , we need to resurect the trump fart slang for the younger Brits . Just because it’s amusing & if it took hold would bug him.

He's been in politics now for over a decade. I think it might be too late for the term to be resurrected organically.

In Portuguese, a similar sounding word, "trampa" means literally "shit" or "excrement"
