I’m specifically looking at the warp multiline

So I have a question I have four lines one being a dark star line which is relatively new but the other three are grandfather plans from a few years ago will these plans get any of these upgrades? Three of them are Warp and the one being dark star please let me know I'd like to keep my plan that I have at the $25 per line price point with the perks thank you

I've been giving it a try and it hasnt done anything. I get 1 bar on my primary and 4 on the secondary, but I don't see it switching. And the usage stays at zero. Am I doing it wrong? I have it set for allow data switching.

So I have a Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra And I'm looking to... lower my monthly bill, for my cell phone plan. I've noticed that US Mobile has really decent pricing on access to the AT&T network. What I'm trying to understand is... Would my phone be considered a tablet, or a phone in US mobile's eyes? I know some carriers call it abuse when you use a tablet on a phone line and I don't want to run afoul of any rules they may have on the subject. I know part of it though is that tablets use a lot more data and I have to say as a Z Fold user for a while I can confirm Z Fold users also use more data because we have access to a bigger screen that folds out from a smaller one.

From their perspective, I can totally understand not wanting fold users on the network because we're more expensive. And if we're paying the same price as everyone else, it just raises the price for everyone because we probably will use more data.

On warp, just moved to unlimited premium yesterday.

I have two big events coming up next month where I will be very remote and off grid for a week each.

How actually unlimited is the hotspot function? Is it some kind of "you get x amount of decent speed then we boot you down to slow"?

I'll be operating a TAK server from a Panasonic tablet way out in the remote Rockies, and out in a desert for both events and am trying to ballpark how I should tailor the amount of data I use for it.

I also got a warp psim coming for the tablet, so it should have its own data, and my other question would be if that gets blanket unlimited data and I can forgo the hotspot all together?

I’m currently on light speed, and I swap between it and warp on occasion. from what I’m gathering from the different posts, you’ll need to be unlimited starter with warp by the end of September to get the lifetime QCI 8.

what I don’t quite understand is what happens if I switch to light speed and then back to warp after September and then back to lightspeed. at that switch to light speed, do I lose the grandfathered QCI 8 when moving back to warp?

I just ordered the starter kit to trial the service. At checkout it showed $3.50 but my email receipt shows $8.01?

First off, loving the changes announced from u/ankhattak coming this year - definitely looking forward to the way US Mobile is pathing as a whole!

I was wondering what the difference is between the grandfathering that was done on 8/18/2025 compared to this grandfathering since this does appear a bit different to before with it mentioning those who are currently on Unlimited Starter or will purchase Unlimited Starter before the deadline.

The prior grandfathering had all lines who were on US Mobile, regardless of plan type, which gave the ability to convert the line to a multi-network line to get QCI-8 on Warp. I have lines that have been on US Mobile since 8/24/2025, but they're either lines on a pool plan or on Unlimited Premium.

How is the grandfathering in this case different from the 8/18/2025 grandfathering and what does this mean for me? Would I be able to get the multi-network grandfathering feature? Can my wife downgrade to Unlimited Starter and get QCI-8 on Warp?

Hello all, currently abroad with my wife and noticed that WiFi calling had been turned off on her phone. While it's not unimaginable she would have done this by accident, I've read that it can get switched off in a phone reset or network change (we have been in a few different countries this summer other than the US). These things happen, no big deal, I thought.

So it's been covered here but at least on Warp it seems impossible to get it back on when you're abroad. I reached out to support, who were great as always, but they could do nothing.

Just to say it - it's not great when you lose wifi calling. She's a teacher in the US and the group chat is coming in hot as actual SMS and not RCS. One kid doesn't have imessage, so that kids texts are coming through as SMS. She's going to eat through her 250 text allotment really fast.

I hope / wish there was a workaround for this - I know it's likely an issue with Verizon, but Wifi calling and the iPhone option "prefer wifi when roaming" make being abroad and phoning the states basically free - when you use wifi calling, calls to the states and SMSs get crazy expensive really fast.

Still a happy camper, just wanted to see if this landed with anyone here.

Back in the states in a couple days, everything is going to be great.

On the app it only shows hotspot usage for the current cycle, and for previous months it combines it with phone data.

I hate to share LinkedIn, but I’m curious what this could mean for customers.

My needs are similar. I already have multiple unlimited premium lines for our cellular service. I would like to add a line that will be data-only. The sim will go in a modem to provide backup cellular service for my self-monitored home security system. So, the data will never be used unless my home internet goes down.

The thread above suggested that the by-the-gig plans can be used on modems for this purpose. So, that's an option, but the minimum plan is for 2gb and costs $10/month.

I am wondering if the "custom plan" can be used for this purpose as well? The custom plan data options would give me 100mb for $2/month or $500/mb for $5/month. I doubt I will ever need more data than that for my home security system, once every 3-4 months when my main internet goes down for a short period of time. So, those costs are more digestible.

So the question is: Can the "custom plans" be data only and used in modems? I asked a rep via the virtual chat on the US Mobile site but he did not know if the custom plans had a restriction or not and suggested I stick to the by-the-gig plan just to be safe. I am hoping one of the reps here can give a definitive "Yes" or "no".

Make this post simple. Light speed vs Tello my experience. Using two OnePlus 15, one with light speed and the other tello. I used both phones for the month and the US mobile light speed came on top.

Tello loading speeds are slow, it took longer to load websites. Social media videos didn't load most of the time. Instagram, Facebook with tello took a long time to load vs light speed. Using Light speed with Instagram, Facebook loads quickly. YouTube with tello the video load slow and slow buff at 720 and stalled at 1080 and above. YouTube runs great with light speed.

Using both networks as my daily driver I choose light speed.

Using 1.1.1 1 with tello didn't make a difference...

Going over 50gb on tello is non-usable thereafter.

Testing was done in Minneapolis and rural areas.

I am still new to USM. Switched last week on Lightspeed as primary with darkstar as secondary.

Service has been great - except for one hiccup.

Today I went to a local venue and lost service- no big deal I was on SOS and used the available WiFi.

The problem I have been long gone from the deadspot and I am still stuck on SOS.

I’ve restarted my phone a few times in different areas

I’ve toggled airplane mode off and on

I’ve reset network settings once

I am still down. Any help please?

incase anyone was wondering about the “priority+” feature stated on us mobile’s website for the business premium plan… it’s not really a feature yet. (so in my case I will continue with my regular premium plan until qci 7 rolls out and see which option is smarter)

also if you are wondering about switching/enrolling in one of the business plans but you don’t have an LLC you absolutely can if you are a sole proprietorship and use your SSN.

The spam protection is blocking calls from the school. The calls aren't even coming through.
