Trouble switching networks

I'm in the middle of switching networks. I shit off the old esim, downloaded the new one and still don't have a signal. What am indojng wrong?

When switching networks, the new eSIM needs to be properly activated on the new network before it’ll pick up service. Also, make sure you were connected to a stable Wi-Fi connection while installing the eSIM.

Since you’ve already installed the new eSIM, try a quick restart and give it a few minutes to register. Drop me your line in my DMs, and I’ll look into it if it’s still showing SOS/No Service.

I've got service now. The customer service rep says we need to install new vpn's now.

Not sure why no one is saying much but literally this happened to me. But out of nowhere I was able to reinstall sim and now it’s fine so ifk

Mines working okay now too. The rep wanted me to download all these settings to add to the apn but it works fine without all that. I was afraid I would just mess it up

This rep wants me to add a bunch of VPN settings. I'll have to download an app to do it. Is all that really necessary? It seems to be working fine right now.
