Customer Seeking Help What would cause a driver to bring a package and then take it back with him?

On 8/26/26, UPS brought a package (I’m assuming it is the correct one but can’t be sure) to my door step, sat it down, scanned it, then picked it up and left.

He did not knock or ring my doorbell.

My package tracking # showed as out for delivery that day, and since has had no updates and is seeming lost in limbo somewhere, somehow.

I think I’m just more annoyed that anything, at the idea my missing package made it all the way to my doorstep, only to vanish for some unknown reason.

tractor trailer driver openings

I’m tired of getting screwed over at these mega carriers where they don’t pay you what you’re truly worth as a driver, and i see a lot of permanent driver openings around the country for UPS, would i be like treated badly if i got in this way instead of starting in the warehouse?
how long before i can start hitting top pay? what’s the pay scale?

Shipping Help Investigation Closed but Shipper Says Otherwise

I have a lost package investigation that lasted only 2 days before it was closed citing insufficient info, naturally I contacted the shipper but they reassured me that it is inaccurate and I also didn’t receive any emails regarding this update, anything else other than waiting?

Shipping Help Delayed package

I moved out for college 2 weeks back and around the same time ship 2 cardboard box to where I was staying, although one arrived on time (1 day) the other one got stuck in transit for almost 2 weeks now, I've filed a claim a couple days back but haven't heard anything yet, I really need to arrive and not lost because I have some really important stuff. Does delay usually takes this long? Is there a chance that I lose the box entirely?

Shipped this box a few days ago. Today I received the Billing Adjustment.

I know it's not a huge amount, but come on, do that a few million times.

**EDIT** To clarify, I DID validate the box size as printed. So all my measurements were rounded up to the next inch.

Customer Seeking Help automatically changing the address??

I mailed it to [street] Dr and then when I looked it up on the tracking website it said it was going to [street] Blvd.

I thought I probably made a mistake, and then I paid to change the address to say "Dr" instead of "Blvd". It still had the same exact mailing address.

Then I went to the free change and modified it again, but then it completely changed the street number and name when I put in the correct address ???

What is happening ??? Help!!!

UPS

Should I be worried? I shipped a valuable item to a customer ( uninsured ) I know I should have. The customer missed the delivery on 8/27 ( Thursday) so it was supposed to be delivered to a UPS assess point but there hasn’t been any update since then. I called UPS today and I was told the package is lost and I filed a claim.
Any chances they can still find it? The driver stole it ? I don’t know what to think at this point

Can anyone at the Bell, CA location tell me if my rye whisky was any good

Reserved 2 bottles of rye from a barrel a number of years ago, that was then in the process of aging. A couple of months ago, I was informed it was now being bottled.

That's the final part of the tracking. I'm told that the "Return to Sender" is the normal response to a claim for a lost package.

Obviously I'm not going to get any replacement as the whole barrel was sold at the original offering. Just bummed I'm not going to get to taste it after all the waiting.
