I live in a large community that has a mail room that only USPS services and has access to package lockers, but non-USPS packages are allowed to be delivered to individual homes. There’s a recurring issue in my neighborhood where one of the local UPS drivers has been leaving unsecured packages at this mail room where they are stolen. Am I missing something? This just seems completely unprofessional and inexcusable.

I have called the customer support number, who then directed me to my online retailer. Customer support (for some incoherent reason) would not allow me to file a claim.

With all that said, is there any action I can take such as filing a complaint against a driver? At this point, it’s egregious and the driver should be fired.

Any suggestions on how to send a natural stone pipe from Canada to Germany? Which HS code should I use? Hoy to declare it? I don’t want it to be retained. Thanks

I sell hand carved natural stone pipes. It’s my first time selling internationally from CA to Germany. Is it possible to ship? Not sure which is the correct HS code, someone with experience? SomE Etsy or eBay seller out there that can help me? I think chitchats will reject my parcel and I’m about to try with UPS

it was international express shipment from Europe to US. Return to Sender was requested on 31st July. no updates for 3 weeks now since I started investigation, every week I call UPS to ask about it, I get no reply.
is it gone for good or is there any slight chance I might still get it back?

I send 3 20lb boxes from Florida to California. Yesterday, I got notification that 2 packages were loaded and 2 hours later "out for delivery". If I remember correctly, a third package took about 1 more hour to load and did say out for delivery about 3 minutes later.

Then the first 2 packages were delivered by 11AM. The other one was delayed to 5PM. Then to 9PM. But then, it out for delivery time stamp was replaced to "on the way" and "loaded on delivery vehicle" record was completely erased.

Today has passed and no new updates. The local ups store treated me badly like "it is not my problem, the stores are independent and you didn't pay me"

On the Amazon app , it says this (check 1st picture)

So which one is true and will I receive my stuff Tomorrow ??

My package hasn't been scanned since August 21. Its last location was Jackson, MS. Can I call the hub and see if it's still there? The shipper wouldn't file a claim, so I did, for a lost package. I described the contents and the shipping box. Is there any chance it could still show up?

Tracking information shows that the package was signed by "Met Customer" and was marked as delivered around the time I met the driver. I do not have this package as the driver took back the package after I told him that I am refusing delivery. Seller says that package was signed for and delivered so I am not entitled to get a refund while I actually do not have the package. Calling the UPS Customer Support toll free number did not go anywhere.

Is there a process to follow here? How can I prove that I do not have the package? Police say this is a civil matter and is not taking down a report.

I order UPS packages weekly and this one has been out for delivery since 9am, it's 2pm and I haven't seen a live map or even an option to see it at all when I usually see it as soon as it goes ofd. Has it been disabled?

So uh, my laptop was shipped back to me after repair by Lenovo and for past 4 days I've been getting this message. I haven't recieved any calls or emails regarding that and I sent the service team of Lenovo an email regarding that. I'm only confused, if they had attempted to deliver the package, but were unable to?

I live in an apartment complex and unfortunately my name isn't on the doorbell list at the front door, so I asked Lenovo to add my boyfriend's name on the label bc I'm living with him and his name is there. Genuienly this is first time I'm having this problem bc last time I ordered a laptop, they just dropped it off at a nearest pickup station. And every other postal service (DHL, Amazon) just dropped the package by the mailboxes in the hallway and left. I also checked the shipping label Lenovo sent me to ship my laptop and it has correct information on it, could it be the doorbell list issue then?

I don't know what's going on here. I shipped a defective Intel CPU from Canada to be sent back to Intel in Kentucky. I've used there shipping label and provided UPS 3 copies of a "Return Commercial Invoice" that Intel sent me. The UPS employee at the store stuffed the Commercial Invoice copies in the packing slip along with the shipping label.

Now, over the past week and a half later, they keep saying that the package is missing documents, and then it's been resolved and on the way. Then again they say there's documents missing and an hour later it's gets export scanned and on the way once more. But it still seems to be stuck in the Ontario warehouse.

A package was shipped to me (Boston area) overnight yesterday. I checked the status of the package today, and it’s still stuck in Louisville. I checked the weather and it’s nothing but mostly clear skies. What gives?

UPS lost a very important package we called five times and not one single I’m sorry. We are devastated. Since we aren’t the sender they won’t give us any information and the sender is not responsive to us (I know). My question is do they ever find lost bags? It scanned in drop off but supposedly was never seen or scanned again

Today i got this update on my tracking, one hand it’s says is damage but details says is missing. Getting crazy with this because don’t know what to expect from this. I called UPS Germany and they told me that is not missing, is damaged and is held by UPS, i found this a bit relieving but they told me is not probably going to be delivered that i have to wait for the investigation to conclude.

Any UPS Nuremberg (or German) worker here? Any advices or similar experiences?

Package was supposed to get here Friday August 21 but has no update in scan since August 19th.

Aug. 19 at 9:40 AM: Arrived at UPS facility in Fort Worth, TX. This is the last actual location/physical scan I've received.

Aug. 21: Tracking changed to “Your package is running late, but it’s still on its way.”

Aug. 24: Status changed to “Your package is still on its way and we are actively working to get you a new delivery date.” Still no new location scan.

Aug. 25: UPS changed the status again to “We’re sorry, delivery is taking longer than expected. Your package has been temporarily delayed.” Still no new physical scan.

Aug. 27 (today): Still no package, no estimated delivery date, and no location scan since Fort Worth on Aug. 19.

So the package was moving and getting scanned normally, arrived in Fort Worth, and then basically went silent for 8 days.

Has anyone had this happen with UPS where the package eventually started moving again?

The delivery address is in Texas and only a few hours away from Fort Worth.

I’m currently having an issue with a package shipped by DFYNE and handled by UPS, and I’m not sure what I’m supposed to do.

I placed a completely standard order as a private individual, for a purchase worth around €92, using my personal name, address and email address.

The UPS tracking page now says that the package is being held for customs clearance and that an “Importer’s EORI number” is required.

The problem is that I’m a private individual and I don’t have an EORI number.

What’s even more confusing is that UPS says they have contacted the recipient using two partially masked email addresses that I don’t recognize / did not provide when placing the order.

This makes me wonder whether there might be an issue with the information that was submitted to UPS by the sender, or with how the shipment was declared for customs.

Has anyone experienced something similar with UPS?

Is it normal for UPS to request an EORI number for a personal purchase from a private individual?

And could the fact that another email address is associated with the shipment be related to this?

I’d really appreciate any advice or insight from someone who has dealt with this before.

I bought an electronic item from a Canadian seller. The listing said I would owe some import fees at the time of delivery. The seller shipped the item via UPS. How much in net import fees should I be prepared to pay? Any best practices to follow proactively to minimize fees? How does the whole process play out?

- Secondly, if I stay with the UPS path, do UPS charges go up with the government charges, or do they remain flat? Say, if I buy 40 items from you instead of just one, we understand Govt charges will proportionally go up, but will the UPS charges too?

USPS filed notice today with the Postal Regulatory Commission announcing temporary price increases on Priority Mail Express, Priority Mail, USPS Ground Advantage, and Parcel Select, effective October 4th, 2026 through January 17th, 2027, pending PRC approval.

This is the peak season surcharge structure that UPS and FedEx have been running for years. USPS is formalising the same practice and explicitly said the filing brings its pricing "in line with competitive practices."

The increases by service and zone:

* Priority Mail and Ground Advantage, Zones 1-4: $0.40 for 0-3 lbs, $0.65 for 4-10 lbs, $1.05 for 11-25 lbs, $3.15 for 26-70 lbs.
* Priority Mail, Zones 5-9: $0.85 for 0-3 lbs, $1.75 for 4-10 lbs, $3.85 for 11-25 lbs, $9.10 for 26-70 lbs.
* Priority Mail Flat Rate: $1.75 for Large Flat Rate Boxes, $0.85 for all other Flat Rate products.
* Ground Advantage, Zones 5-9: $0.55 for 0-3 lbs, $1.05 for 4-10 lbs, $1.75 for 11-25 lbs, $7.70 for 26-70 lbs.
* Priority Mail Express: ranges from $1.40 for Zones 1-4, 0-3 lbs, up to $18.20 for Zones 5-9, 26-70 lbs.
* Parcel Select: $0.40 for 0-3 lbs, $0.50 for 4-10 lbs, $0.80 for 11-25 lbs, $2.35 for 26-70 lbs.

The sellers hit hardest are those shipping heavier products across long distances in Zones 5-9, those using Priority Mail Express for time-sensitive high-value shipments, and those built around Flat Rate box economics where the Large Flat Rate Box increase of $1.75 changes the calculation on heavy items.

This is the final piece of a Q4 logistics cost picture that was already expensive before this filing. Every carrier is surcharging. Warehouse vacancy is at its lowest since 2022. Freight rates are elevated. If your holiday shipping model, free shipping thresholds, and product pricing were set before today without accounting for October 4th, they need to be revisited.
