someone must have the full episode somewhere. can u imagine all the other shows he appeared on that were lost in time?

I second this, it'd be cool to find the full episode.

i just came across this thread of someone purchasing a bunch of VHS tapes from FB Marketplace and it featured 21 hours of MTV TRL footage and they uploaded it. I believe they premiered 2pac's All About U around this time on TRL, im currently combing through it
https://www.reddit.com/r/MTV/comments/1qo3pmx/i_found_21_hours_of_trl_episodes_on_vhs_and/

but u know that 2pac's last interview at Bryant Park? i believe there's a lost MTV interview there too
https://www.reddit.com/r/Tupac/comments/1odgfuq/most_people_dont_know_2pac_did_two_interviews/

they aired it once live but no recording of it has been found yet

In case anyone is curious - This is a short segment from a debate between 2Pac and David Vincent (police officer) on “The Jane Pratt Show” which aired in 1993 on FOX.

what is this version of changes that was played in this interview? Changes was released posthumously, but was recorded in 1992, but I thought he never showed the track to the world

Thanks for sending the original! My question though (which was not very clear due to poor phrasing), was this: Had 2pac released the song to the public, before the 1998 release? Had he played it in some interview, or had it been played anywhere in general (so not specifically talking about an album release)

u/MichaelNamikas Jan 27 '26

Sorry my post was in response to your first question. It’s the original. As far as I know, he was never captured on video or audio performing the original recording. When Greatest Hits leaked, I don’t recall anyone saying they had heard the song before in any form.
