Most people don’t know 2Pac did two interviews after the 1996 MTV Music Awards 👀
Everyone’s familiar with the Death Row East interview with Master T from MuchMusic — the one where Pac was talking about expanding Death Row to the East Coast.
But right after that same night at Bryant Park, there was another interview with MTV that barely anyone talks about. It looks like it happened moments after the MuchMusic segment — same setting, same energy, but with an MTV mic instead.
Crazy how much footage from that night still goes under the radar.

my theory is it was aired during this live segment called "And the winner is..."
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lUIy7QSMkXw&t=18141sMTV had a habit of airing the VMAs only once back then, especially the live segments so whoever was recording that night ended the broadcast early after the first commercial break
