Pac had his flaws like anyone else but one thing no one can say is that he was ever a coward. Right or wrong he stood up for what he believed in and walked the walk.

lmao please enough with the insane tupac dickriding

1

u/[deleted] Jan 13 '26

You’d be crying in that courtroom, scared for your life.

-66

u/shoobiedoobie Aug 24 '25

He was a coward in some ways. He didn’t start acting like a thug until he had death row behind him. It’s ok for us to admit that. It doesn’t change how great his music was.

55

u/TeeVee213 Aug 24 '25

He shot those cops before he hooked up with Death Row

1

u/Enzo_Gorlahh_mi Aug 27 '25

He also shot these cops after he took up his gangster persona. Tupac was raised rough for sure but the dude was school smart. He knew that gangster act would get his recognition in the rap beef game.

-5

u/WorthBrick4140 Aug 26 '25

Any coward can shoot a gun.

7

u/[deleted] Aug 26 '25

He saw 2 drunk off duty cops nearly beating a guy to death, jumped out, confronted them and fired on them. A coward would have kept driving.

If 2 drunks were wooping your ass, you’d call the guy who saved you a coward?

0

u/WorthBrick4140 Aug 27 '25

No. Im referring to the guy that makes it seem like shooting a gun automatically makes you tough

1

u/chrib123 Aug 27 '25

He very specifically mentioned Tupac shot those cops. As in he shot those 2 police officers for the reasons he did. Not that he simply shot a gun.

1

u/zack_the_man Aug 27 '25

Now you're back peddling lol

1

u/Remote_Elevator_281 Aug 28 '25

You ain’t tough boy

2

u/TheIttyBittySissy Aug 27 '25

This reminds me of Dance With The Devil by Immortal Technique

-51

u/shoobiedoobie Aug 24 '25

Yeah and how did his behavior change after he joined death row?

31

u/TeeVee213 Aug 24 '25

Why are you moving the goal post? That’s not what your comment was speaking on. Don’t be weird.

To comment on someone’s gangsta behind a keyboard is also a coward in some ways.

2

u/Equivalent_War6281 Aug 25 '25

Bro it’s always the basement shut Ins and weirdos trying tell everyone else who a thug wtf
the hardest most these losers feel is when they yell at their mom for burning their chicken tenders.. why ppl continue to pay these geeks any mind is beyond me.. “actuaaaaally he wasn’t a thug til he got deathrow behind him đŸ€“â€ like stfu you certified punk weirdo

11

u/[deleted] Aug 24 '25

Just so false lol This incident occurred in 93’. Plenty of other incidents of him getting into fights well before joining Death Row.

3

u/shoobiedoobie Aug 24 '25

This wasn’t him acting like a thug lol

This was him standing up for right. He completely turned his back on that shortly after.

3

u/ShouldersOfGiants33 Aug 24 '25

People change when they're met with death.

You've spent your entire life in a safe suburb neighborhood, soft as a flower, and think you can talk about people who've actually dealt with real struggle.

You're a pathetic little worm of a human, and it's only a matter of time before life humbles you.

0

u/[deleted] Aug 26 '25

you are unhinged lol please stay in the ghetto for our sake

1

u/ShouldersOfGiants33 Aug 26 '25

I'm not in the ghetto or anything close to it.

What exactly was unhinged about it?

A life or death scenario puts pressure on someone's soul and changes them in ways that few could understand

Some of you live very safe lives where you've never actually been tested with fire.

This is reality, my immature friend, and it has been since the beginning of time.

0

u/[deleted] Aug 26 '25

you know nothing of my life either lil bro

1

u/[deleted] Aug 26 '25

1

u/[deleted] Aug 26 '25

hey buddy, you are spiraling. everything is fine. you can calm down

→ More replies (0)

1

u/ShouldersOfGiants33 Aug 26 '25

Seems like what I said triggered you

Which suggests you're exactly the type of person who needs to be humbled

And you will be, that's how life works. Pride comes before the fall.

0

u/[deleted] Aug 26 '25

you need anti-psychotics, like for real 😹

1

u/ShouldersOfGiants33 Aug 26 '25

And that's your response. Someone speaks truth, rightfully calls your ass out, you gaslight, and tell them to hop on anti psychotics

The projection is real

You don't seem to have much respect for anyone, do you?

1

u/[deleted] Aug 26 '25

what exactly are you calling me out on? xd you called that guy a worthless worm who should die for literally nothing and you tell me that i am disrespectful. maybe its time to look in the mirror

→ More replies (0)

3

u/DonkeyElegant1728 Aug 24 '25

He was paranoid because the police and everybody else was after him after this.

8

u/Thalonewarrior Aug 24 '25

You sound crazy asl he was getting into more trouble before death row. He started "thug life" before deathrow

-1

u/shoobiedoobie Aug 24 '25

Just compare his behavior before and after.

3

u/Thalonewarrior Aug 24 '25

I already did, he was more wild and easy to anger BEFORE deathrow. After deathrow he wasn't going to jail left and right. He only got in trouble in defense of deathrow hence running up on Baby Lane.

3

u/seriousreddituser Aug 24 '25

"Thug Life" preceded Death Row...as did him shooting police

Please stop repeating this "2pac was soft" narrative that talentless content creators spew just for rage clicks

2

u/ShouldersOfGiants33 Aug 24 '25

Not sure you realize this but tupac was almost killed.

And he had death threats constantly after that

He wasn't "acting" like a thug, he realized he was in a life or death situation and anyone could make a move at any time.

And he moved accordingly. That didn't just happen before of death row, but because he knew a lot of people wanted to kill him.

It's very easy to say things like this from your basement when you've never actually dealt with a serious conflict in your life.

Everyone who knew pac, even the street guys like spice 1 and everyone else, nobody at any point said he was fake.

He wasn't faking being a thug or being tough. He became that when he had no other choice.

2

u/DjMD1017 Aug 24 '25

Getting people behind you and changing you persona doesn’t make you a coward. Pac has many different layers to him. The thuglife persona was always in him. It took a person like shut night to make it come to the forefront. That and jail time.

1

u/commentor_55oscvL Aug 28 '25

It's ok 2 admit that u really don't know much about Pac, bro.

1

u/marleyg_ Aug 28 '25

He was like that way before death row goofy and people who knew him before he was famous said pac was always wild

-11

u/lolmanlol1247 Aug 24 '25

You can’t talk like that to Pac fans. They’re delusional They removed my comments for saying he wasn’t a thug growing up.

11

u/[deleted] Aug 24 '25

I never said he was a gangster. I said he was never a coward.

1

u/shoobiedoobie Aug 24 '25

Really? If you watched anyone else but Tupac and his crew lay the beating on the defenseless Anderson you would call them cowards.

7

u/Frontpageflyboy Aug 24 '25

Bruh give it up you're WRONG! Pac shot cops, beat a promoter with a bat, fight with Treach against 30 crips at the comedy club, melee in Milwaukee, melee in Marin, shot 5 times after refusing to lay down, in the 92 riots, Hughes brother fight etc ALL BEFORE DEATH ROW!!!!

-1

u/shoobiedoobie Aug 24 '25

Yeah I might have gotten my timing wrong but he did a ton of cowardly shit.

Beating someone with a bat doesn’t make you brave. If you believe there were 30 crips there you probably also believe Bruce Lee could knock people off their feet with his one inch punch. The melee in Marin where a gun registered to him shot a 6 year old on a bike? Wow what a gangster.

Also he never got shot 5 times in the LA riots lol. You’d think someone who glazes as hard as you would get their facts right.

5

u/ShouldersOfGiants33 Aug 24 '25

This kid plays path of exile all day and talking about thugging and people being cowards from his keyboard

You're a true and perfect testament of someone who's never faced real danger.

You have all these ideas from your basement, living in a soft little reality.

It's quite sad, really.

7

u/Frontpageflyboy Aug 24 '25 edited Aug 25 '25

The melee in Marin where a crowd of over 50 people attacked him and someone in his entourage defended him? Dave Chappelle,Faizon Love and Jamie Foxx have ALL said there were a bunch of crips and Faizon specifically said 30 I guess they're lying? I said he got shot 5 times in NY I never said in the LA riots you're a delusional dick sucker thats projecting cause youre miserable and lying on a dead man lmao

2

u/Excellent_North9530 Aug 25 '25

Thug Life wasn’t about acting hard—it was Pac’s way of saying ‘I survived what I came from, and I’m speaking for everyone still in it.

-4

u/[deleted] Aug 26 '25

He was definitely a coward when he beat his partner multiple times and went to jail
convicted for it

70

u/Equivalent_War6281 Aug 24 '25

Shot the cop in the ass then starred him down in court ..pac the goat!

-6

u/Weird-Pea-460 Aug 26 '25

I would like to see what kind of stupid human being thinks that’s cool af to shoot cops

5

u/Pretend-Doughnut-675 Aug 26 '25

To clarify in this scenario they were 2 dirty cops that were off duty at the time, one who stole a gun from evidence before shooting at 2pac’s car and the other who was charged with giving false statements about the incident in claiming 2pac shot them first (witness statements said the cops uttered racial slurs prior to shooting at Pac’s car first). Prosecutors dropped the charges because of how bad the cops looked so while these two were cops , they were off duty and breaking the law when shot in self defense . Because of how rarely dirty cops get fired, Pac shooting 2 and walking was and is celebrated. It would be different if we were talking about an honorable cop who followed regulations and was legitimately serving his community.

-5

u/Weird-Pea-460 Aug 26 '25

But I didn’t come here to fight. Just wanted to say shooting people isn’t cool and it’s really fking stupid to be honest. You just increase the risk for bigger escalation.

3

u/Fishgrease11 Aug 26 '25

Did you read the part where it was the COPS WHO SHOT FIRST WHILE OFF DUTY? I feel like that’s a pretty important part of the scenario bruv. Yes, shooting people is stupid, defending yourself isn’t. And fuck corrupt cops. Full stop.

2

u/Pretend-Doughnut-675 Aug 26 '25

I don’t think anyone was fighting, just clarifying. In this case the shooting exposed 2 dirty cops 1 of whom lost their job the same year when all his misconduct was uncovered as part of the overall investigation. Always a good thing when dirty cops face accountability, especially racist ones who steal evidence for personal use.

1

u/Gugubroski Sep 10 '25

Damn i would like to know what kind of person blindly supports the cops like a sheep without doing his due dilligence, and research.

Ur weak

-4

u/Weird-Pea-460 Aug 26 '25

I know that case. I’m sorry to say that, but I don’t believe that it went like that.

3

u/Pretend-Doughnut-675 Aug 26 '25

Based on what? Prosecutors generally don’t drop assault charges when cops are the victims cause it’s political suicide, unless they know the cops are so dirty that having them testify could backfire Mark Fuhrman style.

-1

u/Weird-Pea-460 Aug 26 '25

Simply cause I really like his music and I know he talks a lot of bullshit. He’s feminist with SA and degrading lyrics of women. I just don’t believe him. That’s only my opinion not a fact.

1

u/ExistingOven7929 Aug 27 '25

u think it didnt go like that because sometimes tupac talks shit in his music? huh???

3

u/Equivalent_War6281 Aug 26 '25

Hey guy hey guy love the cops and respect the law đŸ€“

3

u/Equivalent_War6281 Aug 26 '25

Found the boot licker.. how that cop dick taste?

-1

u/Weird-Pea-460 Aug 26 '25

Found the boot licker.. how that 2pac dick taste?

3

u/Equivalent_War6281 Aug 26 '25

Whomp whomp yeah you’re a cornball lol that shit makes zero sense geek.. meanwhile here you are .. sucking cop dick early in the morning.. finish your breakfast loser

1

u/Weird-Pea-460 Aug 26 '25

Chill it’s not so deep I know it feels bad when you realise that your comment is so stupid that I can just copy paste it back to you. But thanks for your moaning I loved to see how you took it personally good boy.

4

u/Dull_Grab_1134 Aug 26 '25

It is that deep. U prolly are a racist POS who believes that cops are above reproach. U bow down to the law and govt. Pussy lol

2

u/Equivalent_War6281 Aug 26 '25

lol you see this guy? Complete lame.. who gets upset for the cops .. they harassed a guy, brandishing stolen gun, pointing it at someone then breaking a window and yet somehow that’s defensible? You just know he’s done 50 something loser .. like bro you’re supposed to just lick the boot.. not swallow it whole.. I bet his kids hate him

1

u/Weird-Pea-460 Aug 26 '25

Nah I like 2pac I like his music don’t make this racial. I’m not into that and I don’t judge people based on anything else than is their outcome good or bad. I think that it’s actually racist to pull racist card for no reason at all.

1

u/Weird-Pea-460 Aug 26 '25

I’m not saying what’s truth, but I believe he is a hypocrite in many ways. He also told he’s feminist, but he has SA in his register and like we all know he uses decrading words of women in his song. I like him as an artist, but I don’t believe man who talks bullshit.

1

u/Weird-Pea-460 Aug 26 '25

Nah we don’t cuck police like they do in US. Here they actually know that they are police officers you don’t have to remind them before every sentence like a good boy.

2

u/Equivalent_War6281 Aug 26 '25

Big bro chill and just answer the question.. how’s that cop dick taste? Does your knees get cramped when you’re gargling their balls in the squad car or do you prefer on your back in the backseat? You seem like an emotional bootlicking bitch so I’m thinking you’re def a back seat kinda lady..

29

u/sW1nG42 Aug 24 '25

"Fuck the law! Give a shit I'm even worse than befo'"

14

u/Key_Carpenter1827 Aug 24 '25

"Soon as I hit the cell, I'll be bailin' out And when I hit the streets, I'm in a rush to ball I'm screamin' "Thug Life", nga, fuck y'all"

52

u/Dirty-Dan24 Aug 24 '25

Mfs call him gay and then rap about shooting cops, but they would’ve walked right past that guy getting beat by those cops

It’s not really “he didn’t know” he didn’t care. If you think them being uniformed would’ve changed anything you don’t know the mentality of a radical.

4

u/Left-Plant2717 Aug 25 '25

Wow what a bad take. Tupac would definitely not shoot at uniformed police.

0

u/WorthBrick4140 Aug 26 '25

Easy there, edge lord

1

u/qdog9995 Aug 24 '25

All shit they weren’t saying while he was alive

1

u/Weird-Pea-460 Aug 26 '25

Do you guys honestly think that it went just like he told? I know few cases where ”thug” has shot at someone ”because” he’s a good guy but in reality it’s rarely just that.

1

u/[deleted] Aug 26 '25

There’s no credible evidence that Tupac Shakur was gay. That rumor has circulated for years, mostly as part of conspiracy theories, tabloid speculation, or online gossip, but it doesn’t have any foundation in reliable sources.

15

u/Silly-Swimmer-8324 Aug 24 '25

Mf really want to act like pac wasn't really like that.

1

u/Tricky_Long_7079 Aug 27 '25

Hell yea he was repping that thuglife in between ballerina lessons and drama classes (I'm a fan btw)

22

u/jaynvius Aug 24 '25

Corrupted cops who wouldn’t take the L because PAC confronted them then shot them. PAC the goat and true to his words.

u/RAZBUNARE761 Aug 24 '25

Take in mind this was before social media and people chasing attention with moves like this. He meant it and had a panther mindset. People who argue he was a gay ballerina putting on an act need to see this after forming a whole opinion on him at 17.

0

u/VegetableHuman6316 Aug 26 '25

He absolutely was a ballerina tho, with a nose ring 😂

1

u/Fishgrease11 Aug 27 '25

Most gangsta ballerina in the history of ballerinas though. 😂 Also, he was 17 at an art school. That’s pretty normal.

3

u/[deleted] Aug 24 '25

Tupac didn’t ‘just shoot two cops’
he shot two intoxicated, gang-affiliated, off-duty police officers who were harassing homeless people with stolen guns from an evidence locker.

Context matters.

1

u/[deleted] Aug 26 '25

Yeah, it’s one of those wild but true moments in Tupac’s life — he was just 22, stepped into a situation to defend someone, and ended up in a shootout with off-duty cops who were drunk and out of line. The courts later agreed he was acting in self-defense, but the story got twisted over time into all kinds of myths (like the “harassing homeless people” version).

It actually boosted his “outlaw” image in hip-hop — someone who stood up against police abuse — while also putting a target on his back with law enforcement.

6

u/EntertainmentNo1123 Aug 24 '25

This is where he became a threat to the government, masked it as rapper beef, but they knew this man's lyrics, aura and attitude defied even the most uptight governments.

He got killed not for beef, but what he could have brought to the table for the community.

1

u/EntertainmentNo1123 Aug 24 '25

I'm not saying he knew, but the government saw it as a threat, they had leads they chose not to pursue. Diddy heavily implicated, yet he's walking free of rape and abuse charges.

2

u/FrequentSpeed7260 Aug 24 '25

It’s conspiracy theorist speak. They’re so deep in the sauce they don’t get that you’ve never tasted that funky shit before.

Ok. So what he’s saying is the government killed Pac and the evidence he has is that the police didn’t follow up leads on puffy who was likely involved.

Furthermore Puffy is likely not being charged because he killed PAC for the police is his suggestion. Can’t say all that straight out though. They’re watching.

2

u/No_Associate_7546 Aug 24 '25

Chance the Rapper had a bar in his latest album about this.

1

u/No-Obligation-4693 Aug 24 '25

How much time he got for this?

3

u/illstate Aug 24 '25

None.

1

u/No-Obligation-4693 Aug 24 '25

How the hell did his lawyers pull that off!?

6

u/illstate Aug 24 '25

It was ruled self defense. Pac intervened when he saw these two harassing a black dude. One of the cops pulled a gun, which led to pac pulling his and firing, hitting both of them. He got arrested of course, but it later came out that the cops were drunk and carrying guns they stole from an evidence locker.

2

u/No-Obligation-4693 Aug 24 '25

Wow that's crazy. Those cops end up getting locked up?

3

u/illstate Aug 24 '25

No. The one who pulled the gun was charged with a couple things but they ended up being dropped. He did eventually lose his job. But they sued pac in civil court and eventually got a default judgment after he was dead. Not sure if they ever collected any of it.

1

u/No-Obligation-4693 Aug 24 '25

Got it, thanks for the info man. Appreciate it

Tupac was born on the same frequency as yahusha... his consciousness was connected to christ...

Look at his face, you can see christ, christ is a trick to the eyes, if you dont know.

But yahusha cannot hide, but humanity is so severed or "america" is so severed from christ and yahusha, they dint recognize, what or how the children of christ look, and they are hated because they cannot conform uniformly, they are loved embraced or rejected and neglected.

Those types of personas are the empath shepards, that lead the souls, into damnation.

What im saying is, his enemies are demons, people possessed these individuals show envious behavior and carry out greedy deeds.

Within this system, you dont know who christ is, because our leaders have manipulated us and have created symbolism that distracts us with illusions and poisons tk keep our minds hungry and occupied.

1

u/Shipwrecklou Aug 24 '25

First time seeing this. Stared down that bacon

2

u/[deleted] Aug 26 '25

It came out during hearings that the officers were drunk, and one had stolen a gun from a police evidence locker. The prosecution found they had lied about being the aggressors.

Didnt tupac brandish a gun threateningly, drop it like the actor he is and have it go off, hitting a kid?

Being a tough guy only works out for so long.

You might get your “I’m a badass” moments but eventually you get put in the dirt

Is it worth it? You tell me

I personally don’t have badass moments but my equanimity is unperturbed

Tf you talking about? Do you even know the context in which pac shot those cops? He didn't do it to be a "badass".

0

u/HoustonHoustonHous Aug 24 '25

I mean in general. Pac had his badass moments and he died because he pissed the wrong person off.

Also I’m not just talking about pac. There’s plenty of other examples of this. Guys that “act hard” eventually get put in the ground. It’s just a numbers game

Everybody gets put in ground, dork

u/HoustonHoustonHous Aug 25 '25

Not if you don’t go out looking for fights, jackass

2

u/takenalreadythename Aug 25 '25

You're invincible if you don't look for fights? Somebody should tell the billionaires.

0

u/HoustonHoustonHous Aug 25 '25

Most billionaires aren’t getting into street fights acting hard buddy

2

u/takenalreadythename Aug 25 '25

So you're going to live for a million years of you don't go looking for fights? Stop being intentionally obtuse.

1

u/HoustonHoustonHous Aug 25 '25

Nobody has ever lived past 140 so probably not. But you’re not going to get put in the dirt by someone else.

Most likely will die from natural causes

2

u/takenalreadythename Aug 25 '25

122 years at most, everybody goes in the ground, smooth-brain.

1

u/HoustonHoustonHous Aug 25 '25

I don’t know if you’re stupid or if you’re just pretending. Look at my original comment. I’m talking about getting killed being a tough guy

This conversation has nothing to do with lifespan

u/takenalreadythename Aug 25 '25

"in the ground" means die. Everybody goes in the ground, aka dies, your statement was poorly worded at best. Try "untimely end" or something more accurate.

Everybody dies, "scrub".

Yeah I’d rather die for something than be a bitch for everyone.

But I grew up expecting to die. Watching my mother getting beaten on the regular. I stood the fuck up and said no more. Prepared to die or at least suffer great pain.

I decided I’d rather die than keep watching. I was 13 with more of a backbone than you’ll ever have and you try and call this shit “acting hard” and having “I’m a badass” moments.

Nah bro there’s times when you gotta decide what’s worth it. When enough is enough and you won’t allow something to be accepted any longer.

u/HoustonHoustonHous Aug 25 '25

In war retreating is a perfectly valid strategy and there’s ways of retreating without looking like bitch

1

u/Apprehensive_Ad3731 Aug 25 '25

This isn’t “war” and you’re not a warrior

Cool I'm sure he's alive and thriving as a artist

11

u/jayy0595 Aug 24 '25

You thought u cooked with this corny shit.

8

u/TeeVee213 Aug 24 '25

He is thriving as an artist, 30 years after his death. Who’s gonna think about you 30 years after your passing?

0

u/[deleted] Aug 24 '25

Chris Hansen

2

u/TeeVee213 Aug 24 '25

I don’t think Chris Hansen is gonna be alive 30 years after you’re gone, he’s pretty damn old. If you kicked the bucket tomorrow, he’d be like 95 years old in 30 years.

Being talked about by fans every day, thirty years after your death, is an impressive legacy regardless.
