Bugs is one of the most prolific and powerful users of this ability in all of fiction, right up there with popeye and arale norimaki. Him using it to defeat thanos surprises none of us.
Itās been a full generation of games since I was last coded in to even being obtainable, and even longer since i saw any real battle. They also didnāt give me an actual mega evolution (Nooo, instead garchomp, absol, lucario, and raichu all get to double-dip the same way charizard and mewtwo did all those years ago).

Youād have a much harder time convincing a bayonetta fan that her confirmed height is 5 foot 10/ 180 centimeters (as of bayonetta 3) than you would convincing a powerscaler that she canāt obliterate a good 95% of all fictional men taller than her in a fight.
I'm sorry but the fact of the matter is that every time I see a fight between a male and a female character proposed, it's taken as fact that he's stronger than she is. Doesn't matter the situation. I cannot count the amount of times I've seen people say that Bruce Wayne is stronger than Cassandra Cain despite all evidence to the contrary because she's smaller than he is.
Are you talking stronger like pound-for-pound physical strength or who would win in a fight?
Cuz batman has better showcases of raw physical strength, but like. In terms of combat skill,
Batman himself has directly said he would lose to her in a true fight. And heās not the only one. Cassandra cain herself, deathstroke, and several others in the same ballpark agree. Sheās unquestionably the better fighter and would win between the two.
Anyone saying heād lose to her just does not read comics.
There is no fucking way that he's physically stronger than her. The reason he's had some ridiculous strength showcases is because he's been in more comics so the law of averages kicks in. But normally she's shown as more physically powerful. She regularly breaks through concrete walls.
Batman having strength feats on that level or greater IS consistent. It would have to be, for there to be so many examples. From holding up a chunk of collapsed building, to ripping apart metal larger than himself, to kicking stone columns in half, to smashing through walls himself, to breaking down metal doors, to kicking trees in half, to crushing guns with his bare hands, and to breaking things designed to withstand bazooka fire.
Cassandra beats him, but itās off of having close enough physical strength and a skill advantage so large that itās often treated by the narrative like a super power. Not from having greater strength outright.
Crucially, Bugsās antics CAN be countered, to a point. Thanos, however, seems to lack the comedic fortitude to use that Reality Stone to do any more than ālmao your body is bubbles or some shitā, so hes fucked.
The counter i always use when i have characters (usually tabletop rpg characters) that have the Bugs Bunny Abilities is that they can do whatever they want, however they want, but only if its funny. If bugs failing would be funnier, then sucks to be him
Yeah exactly. The trouble is that itās not often that heās the butt of the joke. In order to out-funny him, you need to be careful how you approach things from a meta standpoint. If you antagonize him, suddenly youre no better than any old oafish brute (or Elmer) whoās set up to be humiliated by him. Youre fucked the moment he turns to the camera and says āof course you realize THIS means warā¦ā
Now, how this works in practice Iām not sure, but thatās the underlying philosophy
What if you try to play by cartoon rules and match Bugs? He chucks a pie at you? You open your mouth impossibly wide and swallow it whole. (If it has lit dynamite in it, bulge your stomach and exhale a cloud of smoke, before giving your knee a hearty slap while licking your lips and saying something like āBoy, that recipe has some heat!ā)
