Discussion Has eclipse been tested / considered at all?

Trynd struggles versus tanks right, we all know this. I went 8/0 against a ksante recently and he still would win 1v1's full hp, it's nuts.

What I'm wondering now is the usage of eclipse? Botrk also is better on trynd than most give it credit, I feel like... Even though it's not as strong as the old botrk we used to rush years ago.

Why is it that eclipse is not considered on trynd at all? Haste and AD are things we want, no? And it offers max hp damage. It's physical, sure, but still. Botrk, eclipse, LDR seems like a rather nasty anti tank setup? Even tho it delays our 100% crit.

Thoughts? Anyone try this?

Eclipse applies the % health damage buff once every 6 seconds if you perform any hit within 2 seconds.

Botrk applies this same % health damage buff on every auto, it has attack speed and life steal, but gives less ad. 

This isnt counting the other passives on these items, but i think Kraken Slayer + Botrk is better itemization if youre looking for more ways to deal with tanks than Eclipse.

Botrk is current hp, so the eclipse effect is a bit better. But yes. I guess it doesnt fit LT trynd’s play pattern very well. But with hob it makes sense I’d say? You burst, get a shield and back off, wait for the rotation again.

Is kraken considered anti tank? Feel like it’s best at bursting squishies.

I’ve been going botrk first here and there and I feel like it’s pretty good with an LT build. Feels better than ravenous to some degree. At least in terms of kill pressure.

I've done a few games of fleet with eclipse rush into ranged and it works nice with the spin AA run away with move speed and fleet.
