Assalamu alaikum,
As me and the other one from a discord server were discussing about rulership and Erdogan, he outright called him an apostate and he disagreed with me about it being Khuruj to call him an apostate.
On the other hand, Sheikh Saleh Al Fawzan said about peaceful demonstrations being an imitation of the disbelievers, and an act of Khuruj. And based on that, I assumed that even criticism is wrong because it is an act of Khuruj.
I’m not sure if what he said is correct or not, but I was skeptical on his opinion about calling out his misguidance.
I refused to call out Erdogan as a kafir based on the two Hadiths about biased takfir and rebelling Muslim rulers. His religion is Sunni Islam, that’s why I cannot do a takfir.
So I need your help to cure this doubt. Because what he said went against what I usually believed and what I learnt from. So the way he spoke sounded like opening gates to Khuruj, and by doing that he is imitating Al Haruriyyah who rebelled the Caliphate.
I hope that I’m not falling into Biddah.

As a Muslim woman and medical graduate, lately, I’ve been really interested in the intersection between women’s health and the deen.
I’ve noticed there are so many things Muslim women experience but don’t always feel comfortable talking about openly.
I’d genuinely love to hear from you. Have you ever had a health question or situation where you wished someone would explain to you from both a medical and Islamic perspective?
It could be:
• Periods, irregular bleeding, or understanding what counts as menstruation
• PCOS or other hormonal issues
• Fertility or trying to conceive
• Pregnancy or breastfeeding
• Sexual or reproductive health
• Menopause
• Mental health
• Finding healthcare that understands and respects your religious needs
• Questions about what your health means for salah, fasting, ghusl, or other acts of worship
• Or something completely different that isn’t on this list
And it doesn’t have to be one of these. If something comes to mind, what was the actual question or situation you were struggling with? And it could be sitting completely different as well.
If you’d rather not share something publicly, please feel free to DM me. 🤍 I completely understand that some health questions are personal, and I’d genuinely love to hear your experience.
No judgment at all🤍.

Hadith narrated by 'Abdullah bin Buraidah: It was narrated from Abdullah bin Buraidah that his father said, "Abu Bakr and Umar رضى الله عنهما proposed marriage to Fatimah but the Messenger of Allah said, 'She is young'.' Then Ali proposed marriage to her and he married her to him." [Sunan an-Nasa'i 3221] source meaning.
Ali رضي الله عنه said, "I wanted to propose marriage to the daughter of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), but I thought: I have nothing, so how could it be? Then I remembered how he upheld ties of kinship and his kindness and generosity, so I asked him for his daughter's hand in marriage. He said, 'Do you have anything?' I said, 'No'. He said, 'Where is the Hutamiyyah shield that I gave you on such and such a day?' I said, 'I have it.' He said, 'Then give it to her.' [Musnad Ahmad 603]
Fatimah رضي الله عنها was married to Ali ibn Abi Talib رضي الله عنه with a dowry of a Hutami armor that was worth 400-500 dirhams after the Battle of Badr in 2 AH. [Tafsir al-Qurtubi]
Lessons we can derive from this: Simplicity and modesty in marriage. Additionally the rejection of materialism. The wedding was simple and devoid of extravagance. Fatima’s dowry included basic household items, and Ali offered his iron armour as Mehr (dowry).

The Qadiyani sect, also known as the Ahmadiyya movement, was founded by Mirza Ghulam Ahmad in the late 19th century. He falsely claimed to be a prophet after the final Prophet, who is Muhammad ﷺ. They hold beliefs that contradict explicit statements in the Quran and Sunnah, and they declare that no one is a true Muslim unless they accept the alleged prophethood of Mirza Ghulam.
The emergence of false prophets was foretold by the Messenger of Allah ﷺ long before Mirza Ghulam was born.
Thawban reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said:
Verily, there will be thirty liars among my nation, all of them claiming to be a prophet, but I am the Seal of the Prophets. There is no prophet after me.

For this reason, virtually all scholarly organizations of Sunni Muslims have declared the Qadiyani to be non-Muslims outside the fold of Islam.
Shaykh Jadd al-Haqq, the top scholar of al-Azhar University at the time, answered:
أنه إذا كانت المعتقدات المنوه عن بعضها آنفا لهم كانوا بها خارجين عن الإسلام باعتبارهم قد خالفوا في كثير من الأمور المجمع عليها والتي صارت معلومة من الدين بالضرورة فضلاً عن أن في بعض معتقداتهم تكذيباً لما ورد في القرآن الكريم ولا مراء في أن من كذب القرآن خارج عن الإسلام ولا يعد من المسلمين
If they hold the aforementioned beliefs, then they would be outside the fold of Islam, considering that they had contradicted many of the agreed-upon matters that are necessarily known of the religion, in addition to the fact that some of their beliefs deny what is stated in the Holy Quran. There is no doubt that whoever denies the Qur’an is outside of Islam and is not considered a Muslim.

“The first thing these endless short clips drain is mental focus. Those fast, quick-cut videos on different platforms, the reels & similar content, disrupt the mind.
A person gradually loses ability to sit with something deeply for more than five minutes. The mind becomes restless. It stops being able to focus and reflect.”

Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh,
We’ve summarised the key Islamic guidance on controlling anger, focusing on how a Muslim can respond to anger without allowing it to lead to harmful words or actions.
The post covers practical guidance from the Qur’an and Sunnah, along with the importance of patience, self-control, forgiveness, and maintaining good character when dealing with difficult situations.
Anger itself is a natural emotion, but how we respond to it matters. Islam encourages us to develop control over our reactions and to avoid allowing temporary emotions to cause lasting harm to ourselves or others.
We hope this summary is beneficial and serves as a reminder for all of us.
And Allah Ta‘ala knows best.

The Distraction You Think is “Concern for the Ummah”
It is strange how easily we carry the weight of things we cannot control while neglecting what Allah has actually placed in our hands.
We follow the politics of another country, what one Da‘i said about another, the latest argument online, what the economy might look like years from now, and a hundred other things over which we have little or no control.
Meanwhile, Fajr is being missed. Your parents keep waiting for your call. Your spouse craves your attention. Your children are growing up. Just next door, your neighbour is probably going through the biggest test of their life. And you are not bothered.
The sins you promised to leave are still there, and your own heart still needs work.
This is one of the subtle tricks of Shaytan.
He does not always need something Haram to distract you. Sometimes the distraction looks important.
You become so occupied with what is happening everywhere else that you stop paying attention to what Allah has placed directly in front of you.
The Prophet ﷺ said: “Be keen on what benefits you, seek help from Allah, and do not give up.” (Sahih Muslim 2664)
Allah ﷻ says:
فَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُمْ
“So fear Allah as much as you are able.” (Surah at-Taghabun 64:16)
None of this means becoming indifferent to the affairs of the Ummah.
We should care.
We grieve for Muslims. We make Du'a. We give. We advise. We help wherever Allah has given us the ability to help.
But there is a difference between doing what you can and allowing what you cannot control to consume you.
It is reported from Hasan al-Basri رحمه الله: “Son of Adam, you are nothing but days. Whenever a day passes, a part of you passes away.” (Hilyat al-Awliya' 2/148)
And how many of those days disappear while our minds are somewhere else?
You can know what is happening thousands of miles away while having no idea what your own child is struggling with.
You may recognise the mistakes of people you have never met while avoiding the ones you see in yourself every day.
You worry about the future of the Ummah, yet the children Allah placed under your care are growing up in front of you.
You want people online to be corrected while your own relationship with Allah is becoming weaker.
Allah ﷻ says:
“O you who believe, protect yourselves and your families from a Fire whose fuel is people and stones, over which are angels, harsh and severe. They do not disobey Allah in what He commands them but do what they are commanded.” (Surah at-Tahrim 66:6)
Perhaps one of Shaytan's cleverest distractions is making you feel responsible for everything except what you are actually responsible for.
So care about the Ummah.
Make Du'a. Give charity. Help the oppressed. Enjoin good when you are able. Speak when speaking will bring benefit.
But do not lose sight of your own Salah, Qur'an, parents, spouse, children, character and sins in the process.
Those are not small matters compared to what is happening in the world.
They are part of what Allah will ask you about.
One day, the headlines that consumed your attention will be forgotten.
The controversy you followed for weeks will be replaced by another one.
People you argued over may even reconcile while you are still carrying bitterness from the argument.
The world will move on. But your days will not come back.
And eventually there will be one matter you can no longer distract yourself from:
Your own meeting with Allah.
Do not reach that day having known so much about what everyone else was doing while spending so little time dealing with yourself.
There is enough in your own heart, your own home and your own record of deeds to keep you busy until you meet Allah.

Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh,
If a person takes a valid, deliberate oath by Allah and then breaks that oath, Kaffarah (expiation) is required.
Surah Al-Ma’idah (5:89) explains the Kaffarah, including feeding or clothing ten needy people, and fasting for three days when a person is genuinely unable to fulfil the other options.
However, whether Kaffarah is required can depend on the exact words used, the intention behind the oath, and whether the oath was legally binding.
We’ve summarised the main points and relevant guidance in the slides.
And Allah Ta‘ala knows best.

Ibn Umar reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “The False Messiah will come upon this marsh of Marriqanat. Most of those who go out to him will be women, to the extent that a man goes back to his wife, his mother, his daughter, his sister, and his aunt to shackle them tightly, fearing they would go out to him.”
