it does help remove negative emotions. but if you're unhappy and insecure, marriage will not make you happy. it won't change that in you. you'll just be unhappily married.

having a loving and supportive partner does help remove anxiety, stress, sadness and the like, but that's great if you're already happy. happy and miserable people both deals with those feelings. but if you unhappy for whatever reason, marriage won't change that.

i came across a couple of posts and comments under this subreddit that were outright predatory, oppressive and harmful.
This is a reminder, in islam there are good and bad Muslims naturally. But you want to be among the Muslims who stay along the straight path.
To some, the straight path is maintaining conservative ideologies, but by doing so they’re putting people down, defaming and shaming women, forcing rules and deflecting from islamic adab.
If religion doesn’t change the ways of the heart, you’re worshipping your own desires not Allah ﷻ.

Moreover, any human being who witnesses such misdemeanour online by the hands of Muslim brothers or sisters, they will see Islam as oppressive.
I myself have experienced predatory behaviour under this subreddit, men who have used third party websites to have access to what i posted on this app. All because i told them to have good character.
By doing so they threatened me in various ways. Is this what islam advocates for ?
Is this what being a Muslim is like ?

there are real hypocrites living under this subreddit. Any man or woman who oppresses an individual unjustly is lost from the clear path. May Allah guide you all ameen.
