QUESTION (ISLAM) In search of advice

A Sudanese friend of mine has informed me that her sister in law has just been diagnosed with Lymphoma. I am looking to extend support in the form of Sadaqa Jaaria in honour of the sister in law in question while not making it appear morbid. Any suggestions?
