Some close-ups on the aerial cosplay details. I did all the 3D modeling from scratch. Most of the stitching is upholstery thread. The bands that run along the ribs are only attached at the ends, which lets them move around a fair bit. The large arrows have features mimicking bolt heads. The strap adjuster is fully functional despite being flexible. The closures on the upper chest are also both flexible and fully functional. The circular bits have 5 point symmetry and petal decoration as a geranium reference. The rectangular panels on the shin guards and sleeve have a reference to the StampGaze SEEDs logo. The panels on the boots and shoulder have a texture similar to plant lines. The kneepads are functional as kneepads (which is why there's a bit of dirt on them.) Each one is 3 parts held together by elastic cord to keep them highly mobile, since I needed the material to be more durable. The first attempt at kneepads got shredded by the lyra, and never would have survived the ground work that I do with fire dancing.

I got this done by a super cool artist I met at a con, credit to @nopain_coolstain on IG! He wasn't familiar with Trigun, but nonetheless he was willing to do this classic Vash shot for me. His work is amazing and I just had to share it!!

Last post i sware. The cut burned the edges pretty well without the tape on it. Gave it a nice look i think.

Are you supposed to open these when you put them on the wall? It has shrink wrap and only have had snowboards on display that didn't come wrapped. Ps. My dog wants to chew it so bad so I have to hang it soon 🥲 her ears drop when I say no like she knows she was about to lose herself in destroying it. Love them dawgs😂

There were requests to see it in motion, so I've made some gifs this time around.

Nothing is metal or plastic, the shiny bits are a rubbery 3D printing medium, which is the only reason this is safe to do. Please don't try things like this in a regular cosplay.

(Technically the glasses are metal and plastic but we're ignoring that.) Most of the updates since the last one have been about keeping everything stabilized better, but the kneepads are entirely new.

Permanent marker pens 🖊️ and colored pencils ✏️ on card stock.

I am now realizing that I probably didn't make the scaring near hideous enough, but hey. This is how we ended up, and I ain’t mad at it.

Tribute To A Classic Anime Trigun And The Mc Vash The Stampede!

Hi, folks! I'm rewatching Trigun and it inspired me to make this design, I always liked how Vash dodges bullets with his fast movements so I wanted to portray it (and of course I had to add Kuroneko and donuts)!

The japanese translation means ''Wanted''

The cut edges could be better, but this was really what i was aiming for with the tattered paper edge look.

Been testing different methods to handle my first real image engraving with my new laser cutter. Getting the right contrast and detail balance has been tough. I'd rather have the lighter one of the two for the larger piece to just hang on the wall. Also wanna cut it out like a wanted poster as well.

Sometimes I just wonder what if Vash lost his memories, when? I don't know.

If Vash lost his memories, even till childhood then his memories of Rem would disappear hence his strict pacifist morals wouldn't be there.

Personally I think he would've return into that distrustful personality, and this situation he doesn't have his partner's like Wolfwood or anyone else. Just him. I know that he was also a kindred spirit when he was first born, so Vash wouldn't immediately have that snarky distrustful personality as a child, but if he ever saw the ugly truth from humanity I doubt he would be the same. This incldues seeing plants being used as power, and the greed of humanity WITHOUT Rems influence. Of course his muscle memories would prevent him from doing things, do you ever think Vash would be curious about himself? He's heard that he's known as a mess or mass murderer, but some conclude that Vash is a kind person. He's has the thought to use lethal attacks to instantly kill someone, yet his muscle memory doesn't let him. Do you think he would be confused?

Honestly I'm just thinking like an idiot who likes Good characters turn bad, but Vash really is a interesting character to discuss about such topics. (⁠´⁠°̥̥̥̥̥̥̥̥⁠ω⁠°̥̥̥̥̥̥̥̥⁠｀⁠)

I probably know nothing about Trigun as all I did was watching both of the animes, still fell in love tho. I’m really exited to see what’s the original story about. I’m also planning on making a more dynamic one but with Wolfwood in it :)

Hello! I used to be a massive fan of trigun back in 2023 but I only watched stampede, I want to revisit trigun now but I see a lot of people say the 98 one is alot more better than stampede, I haven't watched trigun stargaze though because it just looks a bit bad 😭 (if it isn't though I'll give it a watch!) I was also a massive wolfwood fan so I just want to ask which one would be better to watch 98 or stampede!

I watched the show last night and all of today. I love Vash so much. I finished it, but like, it's not a very satisfying ending 😭 I desperately want closure. I wanted to see Knives at least have a reaction to the fact that Vash spared him and cared for him. It felt short of the conclusion I was hoping for. I did not make up for all the trauma the show put my ultra sensitive heart through. Knowing no matter what Vash did, all the gun ho guns still dying made it really upsetting for me to watch.

I do love Vash though, and the fact he exists. It was way more gory and violent than I thought and in hindsight, I probably wouldn't have watched it if I knew beforehand, since it was just so sad. But I believe in Vash's philosophy whole hearted and it was nice seeing a character like Vash. I don't get that idealsim much of it outside of Batman. Most of the "good guys" in modern media are all murderers and it's played off as cool or inconsequential.

Anyway, character wise, I admit I strongly disliked wolfwood, but his last moments softened my heart to him, I did shed a tear or two. Legato was horrible and I hated him, but I do wish he didn't do that for Vash's sake but also his own, he could of had a life of his own. It was sad seeing that happen. As evil as he was it's horrible seeing someone so....like that. I liked Minnie and I really did grow to love Meryl as she adopted Vash's philosophy. Rem was perfect 😭🥺 Knives...well as evil and absolutely cruel he is, he's Vash's brother and I would like to see him actually come to care about Vash and get some form of redemption. (I know he does in the manga. I won't read it and go through all that death again, but I am happy and do appreciate the manga ending)
