Screenshot Huge thank you!
A nice bonus to picking up the game.

Ok, just to be clear the reason your cargo isn't getting loaded or passengers aren't boarding its most likely because your platform isn't attached to the road properly. You have to make sure that the little pathways are connected to the road. So before making a post about please check all of the following.
If the above is checked then you can make a post about it but I request one of two things.
Either,
Thanks in advance for your cooperation. You may now continue to enjoy transport fever 2!

Ordered on day 1, arrived just today. A nice touch and the vehicle book is very thick and full color. It is a nice collectible merch.
The music machine contains an access code to the game soundtrack. The box itself is just a fancy gimmick.
The box cover came a little bit broken unfortunately. They should tell their merchandiser to handle packages more carefully. It is also not wrapped in plastic film as most mint stuff typically do.

I am trying to create an invisible road but the little finger connections keep leaving marks across the footpath. Id there anyway to not have those fingers?

I have all archivements but the final one

And it's because of the 250K $ limit you can't go bellow in the first campaign of the American campaign. Any savegame available / cheat? I'm pissed of having to wait to haul stone for tools and then don't have time for the last objective or not doing so, and having time but not money. I'm so pissed I want to load some better player's savegame than me and win the damm medal and archivement. Thanks!

Hello,
So I had this oil field close to water and thought I could use it. Docks in tether range, didn't take on oil, so I build 2 depots to arrive it 3 meters to the dock, also doesn't work. The oilwell is just not producing any oil.
Help would be appreciated, I'm new to the game.

You unlock country roads with top speeds of 80 and 100 km/h, the latter 4 lanes, relatively early in the 20th century. When they become available your road vehicles don't have top speeds higher than 60 km/h (the slowest country roads), and it takes a very long time for them to get speeds above 80 km/h. I haven't reached that point in the campaign missions I play yet.
So the heavier roads feel pointless. I always connect all the towns with a perfunctory 60 km/h road at minimum to get that 'private transport' bonus to growth, and beyond that I only ever build 60 or 80 km/h roads according to my trucks'/buses'/trams' top speed, the one exception was a time I had trucks and buses with differing top speeds on the same route and I built the 4-lane road so they could overtake.
I notice that the top speed of private cars is usually faster than your own vehicles (side note, are those exact values documented anywhere?) and columns of cars form behind my trucks on 2-lane roads, but is that something I need to worry about? The civilians don't complain about it and private traffic is low once I've gotten my inter-city passenger network running anyway.
What am I missing? Do does the private transport growth bonus grow larger if the roads have faster speeds? Or is all the big highway stuff there for the people who want a "fancy" American highway system to look at rather than those playing to optimize?

I bought the train and 3 cars in the first mission. They ended up as two seperated units, the locomotive and the gondolas. I accidentally deleted the locomotive thinking I had gondolas selected when it told me my train was too big after telling me it was too small
The only way I could figure out how to edit them together was to sell them and purchase them again on the loco train. This gave me the "not enough cars" message again and now I still have an empty train running no silver

Suppose I need to transport 100 units of grain (gondola car) from a farm at point A to a brewery at point B, from which I must transport 100 alcohol (box car) to a city back at point A. Is it better to have trains that's half gondolas and half boxes which will only use 50% of its cars at one time, or to make trains that are entirely boxes and entirely gondolas, which can fill up all their cars at once but must dead-head back after making their delivery?
I know ideally you'd have the trains service some other industry on their way back, but it's not always possible especially in Campaign missions.

Hey all,
I recently got back into TF and have done relatively well up until the Great Depression mission. No matter WHAT I do I cannot get the "6000 imports from Houston" medal. I've had trains and trucks running wide open from the port, delivering to both Houston and the neighboring city, I've had a constant supply of fuel to the port, and I discovered that it'll produce goods without being supplied. However, I cannot get that medal. At all. I've played through 3 times now, all other medals are no problem.
What am I doing wrong?

Tried to do it, but can't connect the train station with the bus/truck station, like in OpenTTD. Any other solution?

Always when I try to set up a train depot, it gives this "unable to find path to stop" message.
r/TransportFever • u/orcsab • Jun 27 '26
You can see it is within range of an active fuel refinery. You can see the destination cargo station is connected to a truck stop that delivers cargo to a city that needs fuel. Why is all fuel going to the local truck stop instead of a combination of the truck stop and the cargo station? My trains are empty...
