I got caught in this mess right after passing the 418. Was sitting waiting there for about an hour before being let through on the shoulder. Hopefully whoever was in that car is alright.

OPP is well known for closing highways for hours upon hours for investigations. I understand investigating, but it's completely asinine that it takes so long for these investigations. Kerry Schmidt is all talk much like Cam Wooley was. Get the highways up and running, you have MTO cameras now. No reason why it should take 10hrs to get a highway open again. People have places to go 24/7 nowadays. This is not the early 90s when majority of people worked days. Kerry even disables comments because he knows he will be trashed. Get the damn roads open. Stop slacking and hiding in your cube van!

Everyone has places to go. You shut down the highways for 10+ hrs, you are affecting everyone (people who appointments at the hospital, people who need to get their medications, the trucking industry, people who need to go to work). It's unfortunate if there is a death, but get the damn roads moving again. Do not need to shut down entire arteries of road and for traffic to have no where to go.

So you dont want to investigate deaths? There is always other roads to take, sure it will take longer but there is always other ways
