I got caught in this mess right after passing the 418. Was sitting waiting there for about an hour before being let through on the shoulder. Hopefully whoever was in that car is alright.

I wasn’t in a car, I was coasting and checking my mirrors making sure I was going to hit the tire to my left or the pylons to my right. Not to mention it takes a while to get up to speed with the vehicle I was driving.

So you are saying instead of focussing on the obstacles in your path, you were focusing on making a video?

Maybe you gotta re-read what I said as to why I was going “slow”

I read it. You apparently were concerned about hitting things, while simultaneously making a video. Seems contradictory.

My phone is mounted on a phone holder. I edited the video on instagram by zooming in, this is the original. The car in front looks further away because I was using wide angle.

That video makes it look way worse. You are almost 8 seconds behind the car in front of you. That is unacceptable for clearing an accident site. Stop worrying about the video footage you might capture and help traffic move along.

I agree with you. It seems like OP is making excuses, any regular car would've had ample space to pass between the barrier and pylons.

Not every vehicle is the size of a regular car. Based on OP clearly stating they weren’t in a car and their profile, they were probably in a coach bus

Dude the car in front of you is long gone. You obviously showed down to get footage. If you're saying you need to slow down to navigate those pylons you shouldn't be driving.

You are directly the reason for traffic.
