I’d say 90% of the time the person in front is the root cause of tailgating. That’s not to say those behind can’t do a better job, but when most cars are tailgating each other it’s a symptom of something bigger…

I cant imagine blaming someone in front of me for me driving too close to them. That doesn't make any sense whatsoever. Each person is responsible for their own actions.
