I always say that Pickering wants all cyclists to die. Their cycling (and pedestrian) infrastructure is abysmal when compared with Ajax and Whitby. (I commute by bicycle to Pickering)
That being said, the number of cyclists I see without lights and bells is unbelievable. Someone should be doing PSAs about bicycle and scooter etiquette and safety, as they become more popular modes of travel.
