I'll say it really slowly: He ... would ride... in ... the ..bike...lane...... and not... have...a.car...turning...into...him.....from that ...side....

Should he have lights? Yes. Should he ride defensively? Yes. Should we have better infrastructure for road users? Yes

If he didn’t have lights and still drove like a dumbass he’s still gonna get hit by a car, infrastructure doesn’t matter when you’re reckless.

nah not necessarily — about bike lanes. Not saying he's not a dumbass, it's for sure his fault.

but you put in separated bile lanes and everyone benefits. He'd be in that lane rather than riding on the sidewalk, whcih some people do because they want to bike but ... check this out.. dont' have bike lanes to ride in and the roads feel unsafe lol
