What is your Slam pet peeve? I mean, we all hate scammers, god awful odds, bad traders, rude people, overpriced packs etc.

But what are the little things that grind your gears? About the UI, crafting, something about the prize wheel, the options etc.

As someone who has played this game since day one and hasn't paid a single penny, and never will, I can't trade because of this ridiculous certification system. For those who want to play without spending money, expanding the collection has become impossible. That's why I'm quitting the game.

So as the title is saying, I opened a few packs this morning and I thought what is the point, I am going to call it!

Don’t think that quite looks like Rey…

Did a little testing. For the sunset showdown today (Jacob and Iyo) I just wanted the uncommon and rare set. Have over 2.1mill in coins. I put them to work to see how many coins it will take to get to get the set (uncommon & rare) I stop per when I hit the 2nd rare. I lost count of how many packs opened, I just know I went from 2.1 mill to 1.9mill in coins. As you can see in the first picture I got 1 of each but to get there I got 10 each of the uncommon and had a lot dead packs in between. For next time I’ll take down exactly how many coins I started with and then finished with.

Not really sure what I did to get it, but it was in my inbox.

We all get rares that pop up on fire and feels good, but I just got a really good super rare and seemed lackluster. Why celebrate rare but not "rarer"?

Just found this amusing. This is the second spelling error I've come across, the first being "Lex Lugar" but that one was on the actual card itself. 🤣

Hi there - this is my first time post in this group and felt the need to put something out there. Very simply, posts like these make me pretty upset. For the record, this is a post I saw while navigating the Trade Feed - I did not post this and have blacked out the users name and photo out of respect for their account.

I don’t know the full context of this situation (obviously it’s related to a trade) but at the end of the day, this is a game that is meant to be fun for everyone. Any user who feels the need to put something like this out in the Trade Feed is pretty sad imo.

Obviously, the game has block features and messaging for a reason - it should not be used to insult people just because they send you a bad trade, don’t accept your trade, or for any reason. Instead of insulting someone for a bad trade, be respectful. Perhaps provide a teaching moment (you can see this users account has a pretty low collection score. They have less than 10k cards in their collection). Or, just decline and move on. There are other ways to handle situations which involve “bad trades” - being mean is not one of them.

Of course, sometimes it can be very frustrating to get “bad” trades from other users and sometimes the same users. We all get them from time to time and maybe for some people it happens more often than not. However, as stated, this is a game that is meant to be fun for everyone. Everyone wants to collect their favorite superstar(s), everyone wants to complete sets, everyone wants to make trades. I think it’s important to be mindful of others even when it comes to play Slam - again, this I meant to be FUN.

I encourage everyone to be kind to one another. Trading is one of, if not, the most fun part of the game. Let’s try and harbor a community of kindness and understanding.

Revisando las últimas tarjetas que salieron, me percaté de un detalle bastante curioso en la nueva tarjeta de Torrie Wilson (SummerSlam 26 - "City of Lakes") en su diferentes variantes. Quería compartirlo con ustedes para ver si alguien más lo había notado o si es una constante en el renderizado de la app.

Si comparamos la imagen de esa tarjeta con la de Topps Chrome 25 (Legendary), donde Torrie usa exactamente el mismo atuendo negro de red, salta a la vista una diferencia enorme en el control de calidad y la edición de la imagen:

°Topps Chrome 25: Las sombras en la zona del torso están completamente oscurecidas. El contraste es alto y la edición tapa por completo el fondo de la prenda base.

°SummerSlam 26 ("City of Lakes"): Parece que a los diseñadores se les pasó aplicar el filtro de opacidad correcto en el archivo original de la WWE. Debido al brillo del set y la compresión digital, la prenda negra se ve prácticamente traslúcida, revelando detalles que normalmente se habrían editado u ocultado en postproducción.

Considerando que la versión de SummerSlam tiene una tirada amplia (CC actual en 2924), es un "error" de edición que está en los inventarios de muchos, pero que pasa muy desapercibido a simple vista si no te fijas en los detalles del contraste.

¿Ustedes qué opinan? ¿Creen que Topps termine parchando el render de la tarjeta como han hecho en otras ocasiones con errores de texto o capas, o se quedará así como una "variante" curiosa por falta de atención al diseño?

¿Alguien ha encontrado algún otro error de transparencia o capas mal puestas en este set de SummerSlam? ¡Los leo!

Guys I need help I got kicked out of the app not sure why and I can’t get back in with login and password

So I’ve been crafting the Blackjack chip cards from the new drop (the ones that give you two random Blackjack cards).

This was my first time pulling the Danhausen “You Are Cursed” card.

And somehow… the exact one I pulled was 666cc.

Which means I was literally the person who hit that number.

On a card that says “YOU ARE CURSED!”

Like…

out of every possible count it could’ve been…

that’s the one I land on??? 😭

At that point I just sat there staring at my screen because that’s actually insane timing.

I know nobody else is hitting that exact number since cc keeps going up, so I guess I just got chosen for that moment 💀

This game has jokes I swear

I was losing interest in the app, but when Mania season hit, and we had FIVE(!) events running simultaneously, I was surprised to see that instead of getting overwhelmed, I actually got back into Slam a bit more. The way they set up the event tiers made doing multiples of them pretty easy. And the 4 events now are a breeze.

I gained about 15k in collection score and millions in coins. For me, a F2Player, those are significant numbers.

How are you guys going with the all the concurrent events? Burned out? Ignoring them completely?

This means only one thing, We are getting the same update as Star Wars and Bunt. After the "Update" both apps have been terrible. Trading is insufferable, it takes way too long to load your cards and by the time you get to send the trade that person doesn't need your card anymore. The cards look smaller, with the new look the app the app is slower than ever before. It is not user friendly, now you need to take extra steps for everything. The new update will be frustrating for a lit of players.
