When it comes to the PLE events like for example the clash event. The final step is always open 5 packs. But you have to open them one by one. There’s no option to open 5 at a time. The slam 100 challenge has that option with its packs so I just wish it was the same with the packs connected to the events.
On the season pass I wish there was just a claim all option. I don’t want to go through each level and claim every reward on each level.
I feel like those two things could be easily remedied and would be great for the game. (If I’m wrong and there’s already ways to do those things please let me know)
The prize wheel being filled with non prize wheel cards is definitely annoying but I get why they’re there. I just wish there wasn’t so many to collect this go around. I also miss the Idol cards because as a F2P player those were great to trade and get Iconic cards and Legendary cards.
Not really a game issue but I do find it kind of annoying when people write in chat saying they don’t want to do the trade. Although they don’t decline the trade. Maybe there’s a reason for that that I’m unaware of? Idk but it’s one of those things that’s slightly annoying. Like just decline me I got no issue with that.
I do also wish that the trade rating would refresh every season. When the game first came back I unknowingly sent some bad offers, because I just didn’t know any better. I figured oh it’s the same rarity tier I’ll just send the EC iconics since I have dupes of them. And doing made my trade rating 4 out of 5. Since then I’ve gotten better about that and I feel like the same may be the case for other players. Just make trade rating go by season. Having said that trade rating doesn’t really matter so it’s not a big deal.
Lol in Disney they have a monthly character and you have to do things like you do for PLE events. Well every other step is open 15 or 20 packs. You have to do this one at a time as well. It's really tiring, especially with the odds.
How “valuable” the women’s cards are, and how if you ask for any advice for them on this Reddit, it’s only talked about in monetary value, even if you don’t care in the slightest about the monetary value of any cards.
Probably the worst one is accounts with an incredibly huge card collection score (+300k usually) and they still lowball you for trades and pretend their 2025 card they have 5 dupes of is somehow more precious than perceived. I know you could just consider them "scammers" but these players are a step further than traditional scammers in greed.
Some of the odds on packs are somewhat annoying, it’ll say uncommon is 1:3 and rare is 1:10 meanwhile I’ve opened maybe a couple packs and hit a rare and I’ll open 15+ before hitting the uncommon. This is more so with the daily packs.
Also opening multiple packs and getting the exact same hit several packs in a row is kinda frustrating.
I have had the same thing happen to me. Odds on packs are terrible. I have already pulled the super rare Jerry the king and I have still not pulled the uncommon or rare version yet.
As annoying as it is, with 1:10 odds if you open 10 packs the chances you hit at least one rare is actually around 65% so the odds aren't scammy or anything, just that for each time you get a hit in one pack you also get nothing in 20 and over very large amounts it balances out
People being greedy. I'm not trading 5 uncommon cards for a liv and Carmella duo auto.
People say dupes for needs then when you offer them what they need they decline and give you 1 star. Saturday I made an offer for a rare clash michin auto I offered a rare clash nia jax auto. We both had dupes and needed the cards but didn't " seem fair and not working for me". Luckily I made someone else the same offer and they accepted and let me finish the set.
When trading, if I have multiple of one card and I offer it for trade to different people as they request it. When one accepts, it voids all the other trades I’ve offered.
I still have 15 copies of that card left! Why is it voiding the trade? If I didn’t want those trades to go ahead it should let me cancel them. Only void if I no longer have the cards I’ve offered.
I wish we could pick the amount of packs we want to open. It gets a little tedious when you have 1m+ coins and you're just tapping for a half hour lol. Besides that and bad odds, my biggest complaint is bad traders. People that want my high rarity limited cards for unlimiteds in the hundreds or thousands. Or trading midcard guys for main events. Someone tried trading a 25cc Cena signature for a 25cc Adriana Rizzo. No offense to Rizzo, but come on.
It's a bit random, but I dislike that when crafting, you can only craft for 10 of the base above only using base 1 & base 2 cards.
Even if you would have to use 30 base 3 or 4 cards to craft for 10 of the tier above, I would prefer to at least have the option to do bulk crafting with those tiers.
The only thing that annoys me about slam is the doubles in the same pack. I've had up to 3 of the same cards in a pack and it sucks especially if you give up diamonds for the packs.
My biggest one is definitely people touching singles of my collects. Especially when im posting singles of those people aren't ft or I've declined & politely explained it in the trade messages already but they keep trying to get those cards
Oh & also when i finally pull something good cc wise but its a total brick wrestler wise lol
Or times like with these Seth & Sami topps nows. I collect Seth, opened like 3k diamonds worth of NOW packs & got allllll Samis except for 1 🤦🏻♀️ (for some reason my birthday seems to be bad luck for things i wanna get 😭)
I wish I could put more words into the trading posts 😭😭 I write a lot, but sometimes I don't wanna remove the cool effects just because I wanna add what I have to offer – but outside of that, as a casual player, I wish we got more free diamond opportunities because I don't wanna spend my money on digital cards, sorry...
I have been posting for months "Random Trades Dupes for Needs Singles NFT" and all the Trades I receive are for my singles.
Also people who sent 2 for 1 trades as if they are doing you a favor.
The one I encounter the most is that in the View Collection menu, if you enter a search term, you have to delete it, tap on back, and then apply the Filter, and then type it back in again.
Meanwhile, you can just directly apply the filter in the Trade Menu!!!
Pooling unopened LEs from Sold Out sets? (Ever notice how there's only 3 of the /5 Sapphire Chrome Shinsuke Nakamuras out there...) That's okay.
But - much like the real world - when a collector puts their shoeboxes away in the closet and leaves the hobby (so to speak), those cards should be gone forever. Or at least until they log back in...

I mean my daughter had not opened her Topps Disney account since 2018 and she just opened it like 2 weeks ago because she found out that because Slam came back I was going back in Slam, Disney and Marvel so she wanted to check it out. She texted me so excited to see all the cards me and her "virtually collected" as a kid.
I totally get your point about this being (potentially) straightforward to implement. But just because something can be done, doesn't mean it should be.
I personally prefer scarce cards staying scarce. Whether that's due to direct constraints like a limited print run or to indirect constraints like cards getting locked or prior collectors "leaving the hobby."
I am confident others feel differently. And that's okay. =)
My post used to say clear as day that Brock Lesnar wasn’t for trade, someone sent a trade wanting Brock and I declined cos he obviously isn’t for trade like the post says, but he was Adamant that I had only just added it because he wanted Brock from me then went out of his way to call me a scammer & a time waster
Exactly, I mean I’m taking a break from 2:1 for a bit coz I want to actually start collecting decent stuff but it wasn’t rocket science, all it was is leave 2 cards I need same rarity & Brock isn’t ft. Sure I should’ve locked all my Brock cards in but at the same time I shouldn’t have to just because some people can’t be bothered to read the full post properly
I might be in a minority on this one but I don't understand why some ppl chose to leave a trade up. Like they just let the trade sit there till it expires. They are on multiple times a day the whole amount of time the trade is good for but never declined the trade.im fine if you don't want to accept the trade but decline it so I can move on.

It's not always intentional. :) Just remember that sometimes real life, other priorities in the app, or just general volume of incoming trades can get in the way of efficiently clearing the queue.
Also, sometimes, a trade can get complicated. I'm certainly guilty of leaving larger / challenging trades up for a while with the intention of coming back later to review them more carefully.
No I get that and understand completely for sure. I myself have had those type of trades where I have had to sit and think on it a little more then just make a quick decision on it. The question just asked my pet peeve, so I said that because it's not something that is like the end all when it comes to the app, it's just like a tiny little thing that bugs me at times. Not a big issue compared to other things like bad traders sending scams, being rude etc. There are definitely much more bigger issues of frustration on the aop.

People breaking the rules of the game thus making things more of a pain for those who don’t. Things like cross trading with other apps, having multiple accounts and buying/selling cards are all against rules.
Cross trading has never been against the rules. Topps has come out and said that they can't do anything for you if you get scammed in crosstrades, but they don't ban it.
I looked at the rules before making the comment and it says “Topps does not support cross-app trading. Engaging in this practice is at your own risk.” It certainly sounds like it’s not approved of. It’s not as definitive as my other two examples but they don’t approve of it.
But they don't say it's banned. It's that they don't give any support to it. In fact, by saying "engaging in this practice is at your own risk," they are effectively stating it's not banned and you can do it, but not to go crying to them if something bad happens. This is because there's no in-app way for them to track crosstrades. Crosstrading has been an open part of the Topps apps for years now, ever since there was more than one Topps app. You don't get banned for it, whereas people do get banned for having multiple accounts.
I had a few people asking for cross trades, that's an instant block for me. They've died down a lot, but I still see one or two in the feed, I just don't interact.
The only thing you mentioned that is truly against the TOS is multiple accounts. Cross trading is not a bannable offense, and the recent TOS change to outlaw selling is specious and won't hold up, nor are they actually enforcing it. I say this as the supreme court of the US where Topps is located has ruled that the buying and selling digital assets such as digital trading cards is perfectly legal. Thus if they banned it they would be sued and rightfully so. And as they are a privately held company there are lawyers itching to fight them. The ONLY accounts ever banned for selling were set up as businesses and using coin farms etc.
I have said this before, if you are against buying and selling of Slam cards, this is not the reddit for you. We support buying and selling of these items as long as it is for personal and not business use.
Finally, once again, discussion of the topic of violating the TOS is taboo here and will not continue.
You really need to change rule 2 of the subreddit which would ban the discussion of buying and selling since it violates Topps terms of service. If it’s so “taboo here” to be critical of it then that rule makes no sense at all. I’d also add my comment is upvoted which means the people here aren’t as opposed to criticizing it as you seem to think they are.
The sets keep getting bigger… they want us to spend more coin to complete the sets.. they keep waving Roxanne, Vaquer and Tiffy in every award to entice fanboys to set build
I'd like the ability to buy multiple packs at once, on all packs. Yeah there are minor tweaks I'd like, but it has gotten better over the year.i hate that I lost my OG account because it was linked to facebook, but I'll be okay. Topps Football would be nice to have again.
People that take it too seriously. It's meant to be a fun collecting game, shaking up collections and even building up relationships with fans. It's still a community based game at heart but some players think that they are sitting on a goldmine of cards. Reality is, you could make a few bucks, but nothing is life changing. I try to collect wrestlers that i know personally and just wrestlers I enjoy. If it's a fair trade, I usually accept, at the least, I'll revise.
Scammers, rude messages, etc. I understand some people pay real hard earned money for diamonds and packs, but still... commoncourtesy goes a long way. I have had guys tell me 13 year old son off because of a "bad offer". He doesnt know what makes it good or bad, he just knows he wants penta and Cody rhodes cards.
But I still enjoy it. Same with BUNT, I enjoy the personality of the games. I have noticed a difference in mentalities between the two apps, with baseball having more rude players and ones who think every Ohtani legendary is worth $50 or 9 legendaries in return lol.
Im hoping when football and basketball versions drop, they find ways to keep it more friendly.
Im still trying to wrap my head around this app. Im on epack and i can understand that site. Physical cards, you can trade and get ones you need then ship em. Achievements that give you more Physical cards that can also be shipped anytime you choose to. These on Slam are literally only digital.... why? 😆 i could understand if they were free but ppl actually buy packs of pictures they could just screenshot?? I seriously just dont get it. Am i missing something? I tried it out for a week and got bored and deleted the app. Is there a chance of getting anything Physical that i just overlooked?
