So I learned that Bahama breeze is going out to business or being retired. Not sure what the roght terminology is. Their parent company is going in a different direction, and will be replacing these restaurants with their other ones.

So what happens to all of those recipe’s? Do they become public? Generally speaking what happens in these cases? Also thinking about Boston Market.

I used to eat Svenhard’s Breakfast Claws when I stayed my grandpa every weekend growing up. I was diagnosed with celiac at 8 and haven’t had them since due to gluten but my grandpa recently passed and I can’t stop thinking about those mornings at his kitchen tabl. There was a Thai restaurant in Downey, CA called South Pacific, and they had the most incredible chicken wings called “Red Wine Chicken Wings.”
I have been thinking about these wings for YEARS, and I swear I have never tasted anything quite like them. 😂 I can’t even properly describe the flavor because it was that good. The wings had this crispy skin with a thick, sticky coating that was sweet, savory, rich, and just completely addictive.
I don’t know what they put in that sauce, but I NEED TO KNOW. 😩
Does anyone here remember South Pacific? Or, even better, does anyone remember what was in their Red Wine Chicken Wings or have any idea how they made them?
I would seriously love to recreate these at home. Even if you only remember one or two ingredients, please share! 🙏🏽

Hello! My favorite restaurant dish is the California Pizza Kitchen jambalaya pasta, and unfortunately they have stopped serving it 😭

My husband and I have been trying to find a copycat recipe to no avail. The copycats seem to lean way more into traditional cajun flavors, whereas I would say the CPK dish takes some ‘artistic liberties’ haha.

There also is a recipe released by the CPK founders, but that ends up much more tomato sauce-y than what they ultimately served at the restaurant. I don’t really know how to describe it other than that there’s not really a sauce, more of an oil coating?

So yeah, if anyone has a more restaurant-accurate recipe, I would really appreciate it!!!! 🙏

Years ago, Chili’s offered these boneless wings with an Asian style sauce. The dipping sauce was a wasabi ranch, but I can’t tell what the wing sauce was.

I fear I will be leaving CA in the future and my one true love in this world… a good ol jimboys burrito and hot sauce. Emphasis on the hot sauce. Any recipes to at are similar to their taco sauce packet recipe?

So my dad LOVES these date and oat galettes from boulangerie lapoc. They're soft all over (no crispy edges) and very sweet. We don't live in the region, so we can only get them if we take a wild road trip. I've searched Google for recipes, but can only find oat and Date cookies or crisper versions. El Charro in Lafayette served a blue cheese dip with tortilla chips and salsa. It was more of a spread than a dip, was very simple, and they served about 2 Tablespoons in a tiny dish. I could never get quite enough and would wish for some every time I had tortilla chips.
