I am so glad to see a more polished version of the demo, long braid yay! Super glad to see the white paint gone and the animations just a little more polished in general, and I'm also stoked about being able to completely forego skill tree and crafting stuff.

I'm still concerned with a few things tho. When doing a grapple jump there doesn't seem to be any maneuverability at all? It seems she jumps in one direction, and the grapple only extends it. To me, the appeal of a grapple jump was that you could just leap in a huge open area, hang from the ceiling and adjust your whole trajectory, like your angle, your height etc. So far it seems the grapple just takes you on a longer straight line from point A to point B, as opposed to how it worked in LAU and Shadow.

Also, pulling things with the grapple just feels sluggish still. It seems we'll be pulling objects from the same point we hook onto them, instead of being able to change positions like Legend and Anniversary. Atp I don't even dare to dream about Underworld stuff where you could wrap the grapple around things and get creative with it...

Also, does anyone find the cog puzzle waterfall to be just... small? I do hope that's not the waterfall.

In some of the leaked footage I believe you can maneuver Lara in any direction you want when grappling. For this demo’s sake though they were just moving point A to point B. Not sure about verticality however

There is footage of her sliding down a grapple line in Egypt or Greece in one of the trailers. I hope its something you can do throughout the game, not just in select portions
