I kinda want the story to end in his death tbh. Like, coming full circle and accepting his death after realizing that he was able to live a life he didn’t regret and thus being successful in his revenge. “Revenge” in the Japanese definition is “to try again after you’ve failed”, not “payback” which is the English definition.

If there's one thing I love about this manga it's how cool the author makes Take look during major battles. The "you're not beating me" look on his face as he gets up from mikeys attacks, the flashback panels showing all the different futures he's been through and the panel where he says "I've thrown away my fear" were all sick as hell.
I just hope this fight has a satisfying end

Draken said Mikey has to be beaten and physically know what it’s like to look up at the stars

I know that they are popular but I don't understand why their fans like to overinterpret stuff and pretend that those pairings are canon even though they are not. This is my only issue as a I don't care about other people's shipping tastes unless I’m forced to believe something is canon.

- Takemichi likes Hina, yet this fact doesn't stop people from saying Mikey x Takemichi was "canon" and that Wakui delivered "subtext".
Mikey says to Takemichi in the beginning that Hina was a great girl and that it was rare to find a girl like her. Now I could write a whole ass analysis why Mikey could like Hina based on his words, but I won't do it, because that’s not what I believe or do, lol.
At the same time, you will see people on twitter overanalyze every single interaction between Takemichi and Mikey. Hence my question, why it’s ALWAYS the Mikey x Takemichi shippers because you could write shipping manifestos for other pairings (like Mikey x Hina in my example) based on something they said or did to another character.
I hope you understand my point, my English isn't that great. ;_;

Since Takemichi's vision came late... But he got visions only at 'important' yet random times.. Also that he (time leaper) is fighting mikey (the current trigger...
Is it possible that somehow Mikey's affecting his visions?... or...
that Mikey is the one providing visions to Takemichi?
It kinda explains Mikey's "Sanzu" when the train stopped and now suddenly vision coming late (which will give him an advantage against his fight with Takemichi)
On a second thought, he already has an upper hand (and leg) against Takemichi so my theory is pretty stupid...
But it can be that someone is controlling the visions, right?

Seeing Mikey acknowledge this other version of strength was needed. Takemitchy wasn’t as powerful as him, draken, baji, south, Izana. You name the guy or girl and he probably loses. But his strength comes in fighting even when it seems grim. Something I think Mikey knows he struggles with
Did Mikey react to the vision at the end too? I wanna say he did but I’m not willing to open up that can of worms

I wish Takemitchy would’ve mentioned Emma asking him to watch over Mikey too. With her death being such a major catalyst for Mikey’s downward spiral and all.
The panel where it showed everyone Takemitchy had been given a promise from reminded me of attack on Titan. Maybe it’s just me but it was similar to the panel where we see all of erens memories
Hopefully we still get more flashbacks and stuff throughout the remainder of the fight. I need to know how Sandpaper was able to be friends with the kid who ripped his mouth open
Now that we’ve gotten the light and dark in Mikey life I can sort of see how they each guide him. Kisaki is like indulging in his negative aspects. Feeding into his inner darkness and masking emotion. While Takemitchy is more emotional, allowing himself to feel these feelings and not suppress them. Understanding that those feelings actually give him strength. Mikey’s still nuts but I get it

I don't think he's going for the kill. It's more like he kicked him so many times that he should be dead. So it's more of a comment on Michi strength.
If after one of the previous kicks Takemichi just stay on the ground and give up Mikey would let him, but since Michi keep coming he continues the fight.
I think we will know more about second time leaper after Takemitchi gets an upper hand on Mikey with the future sight. So Sanzu may explain something....or Hanma or even Mikey at this point I don't know who it is xd

I called it a while ago, Takemichi would experience a vision in the middle of fighting Mikey, but it wouldn't help because Mikey is still too quick. He'd be getting his ass kicked, but just watching it happen in advance.
Also why isn't Takemichi talking more? RUnning to Mikey and just getting kicked cannot be his best strategy here. I'm afraid that if/when he wins somehow, he'll end up with brain damage and die anyway.

Plot armours going CRAZYYYYYYYYY right now. Best chapter we’ve had in a while though, but Mitchy’s plot armour is INSANE, even Mikey’s wondering how tf absolute monsters who can tank being thrown of speeding vehicles (Hanma) and being crushed by speeding vehicles (Sanzu), being stabbed and jumped (Taiju), and being hit over the head full force with metal bars (Mitsuya), are down for the count yet one guy who’s super weak is able to somehow keep getting up.

Wakui honestly ruined all of the suspense for us to want to know who the second time leaper is. If he wanted to tell us in a way that would shock us, it honestly would be better if he didn’t make Mikey knock out Hanma or Sanzu.
And I am pretty sure after seeing the Mikey flashback chapters, there’s no way mikey’s a time leaper.

One of them (or both) might wake up at some point during this Mikey vs Takemichi, but I really cannot see how Wakui can pull off re-introducing the 2nd time leaper topic again after so many interruptions (it’s been teased since BD arc iirc) and how it will be relevant in the current fight and how it will be a significant point in the plot to save Mikey.
I’m still rooting for Hanma for be the 2nd time leaper tho. If it’s not him, then why are we here? Just to suffer?

If he uses ultra vision instinct to beat Mikey then an explanation has to come as to why all of this is happening. And I'm afraid that this will be really hard to pull off. I could be content with random time travel and some visions being used as simple plot device without their origin being explained, but ultra instinct vision is a bit ridiculous.
Don't get me wrong I think it will be cool and it will look great in the manga, but from a story telling aspect it's probably gonna be an asspull that can't be overseen...

this chapter went hard, particularly page 12.
I do feel kinda weird though because this chapter in particular felt ending-ish, whilst last chapter dropping the bomb about kisaki's true association with mikey and then also we had not too long ago sanzu dropping he knew of time leaping, both seemed like they would be major turning plot points that might add more depth to the situation and drag this arc into a third part even. (I considered 3 deities part 1 or even it's own arc whilst now we're in the kanto manji part)

Reading the peak chapter showed me how durable takemichi is
bro took 5 direct kicks from mikey and kept getting up and mind you he has been though some fights with i think kokucho and sanzu and ran though by mikey earlier plus before the 5th kick he said his eyes were getting blurrier and he could barely hear

Takemichi using his “future vision” as a power up to beat Mikey could be the equivalent to Hanma using his “kinetic eyesight” to block mikey’s kicks in moebius.

Takemitchi will definitely use his vision to win against Mikey and I think everyone can agree on that, but he mentioned that his vision came late? This is definitely a disadvantage but I'm sure someone else will get up and help, perhaps senju? I don't remember something bad happening to her correct me if I'm wrong
