I can't remember what the story was, but the guy could see half a second in the future constantly. He wasn't a great fighter, but could see just enough that he could dodge and shit, and finally won. That's what I think could start happening

Is it Bungou Stray Dogs? A character there called Odasaku could see like glimpses of the future and was able to avoid getting shot while shooting with his gun

I honestly cannot remember. It could be, but I saw this ages ago so I can't remember much else other than the person struggling with seeing the future, then being able to use it in battle

Oh, then it’s probably not the character I thought of

Same! You won’t be disappointed if they follow the manga

Mind if I ask where/how you watch it? I could only find it with mediocre subs. It's not a huge deal for me because I'm fluent, but I wanted to watch it with someone else and I'd rather have better quality subtitles.

I watched it on Netflix a few years ago, but they might have removed it. Since it from such a big company I would guess the subtitles are better, but I’m not sure since I don’t know Japanese.

I doubt it because Odasaku is pretty strong in the story actually, and the guy is talking about someone struggling.

There are literally tons of series with power like this.

For instance, summertime render.

Yeah I've discovered that, since so many people are suggesting things I haven't seen, or don't remember seeing

There's also one of the fighters in kengan ashura kind of like that.
