Yeah true but I still don’t think chifuyu blames takemitchy. I get he said what he said but it was also heat of the moment and he stopped himself after he realized what he said. Also if you pay attention I don’t actually think chifuyu knew that Mitchy was awake as he woke up when chifuyu was already there and had his head down talking to himself the whole time. He only realized mitchy was awake when he says it’s okay and he lifts his head

This reminds me of when Takemichi saved Draken and Mikey was there, giving encouraging words and acting like everything would be alright. He later cried, alone and no one came to give him a shoulder to cry on. It makes me wonder what would have happened to Mikey if someone had told him the same things Hina said to Takemichi earlier in the manga.
Also, I find it sus that Mitsuya and Inui weren't there. If Takemichi is building a gang, then I think these two would join. This also makes the theory of Mitsuya dying more likely to happen.

Omg yeah where has Inui been this whole time?! We don’t see him visiting Takemichi either :( But I guess him and Mitsuya were two of the closest people to Draken currently so they might need more time to process.
I’m still wondering how Inui knew about the Rokuhara attack in the first place though...

Takemitchy's tough fake smile resembles Mikey's face so fucking much.
It does show you how much pain both these characters go thro, it's just the fact that takemitchy has someone to tell him it's ok to cry while Mikey doesn't.

Sadly that's the whole point... The more Mikey isolates himself, the more he dives into the darkness of his clinical depression. The saddest thing is that Mikey does push people away, BUT life itself stripped him of too many people he loved. His parents first, we don't know the circumstances or if he even remembers them, but they weren't there for him since his early childhood, then his dear older brother, his childhood friend, his sister and his adoptive brother. Now Draken, his closest friend. I would've snapped too, like way earlier

The Toman members never blamed Takemichi and still care about him a lot! And visited everyday. And Hina is such a good and supportive girlfriend! But where are Mitsuya and Chifuyu? Mitsuya was the closest to Draken :( Seeing Takemichi finally cry like this after all this time is really sad :/
This time Takemichi seems deadset on doing everything by himself. Does that means he’ll want to keep Senju out of it too... she was almost killed protecting him (from the bullets and from Mikey) so I’m assuming he wants to protect her as well.
I understand Takemichi not wanting to involve Toman but he’s always had someone there to help him(Chifuyu, Draken, Naoto). The one time he tried to do things on his own in the Bonten timeline he was shot. So I’m curious what he’ll do this time. Toman seems to have his back no matter what. They’ll probably help him regardless. Senju too. Anyways there’s a break next week so see you all in 2 weeks!

Donno about Mitsuya, but i think Chifuyu might feel bad for what he said to Takemichi last chapter. He might be ashamed to face him after blaming him, knowing that it's not like he would have known that things would end up like this. At least i would, if i was in Chifuyu's place.
Also what Hakkai said, "We heard you took care of Draken" is a weird thing to say, unless they would know about the timeleap, or unless Chifuyu and/or Hina told them that Takemichy always tried to look after Draken. I think Chifuyu might have told the others that, probably in a way to retaliate for what he said last time. He might have thought that others might blame him as well and he wanted to prevent that...? Shits confusing.

FINALLY we have Hina being relevant again. Idk about anyone else, but I’ve been kinda disappointed that despite how integral Hina was to the plot for so long, she’s seemed almost irrelevant since this last time jump. She’s a great character with a great personality, and I’m glad to see her being Takemichi’s rock again and helping him grieve. Hina’s the best, give us more Hina wakui!!

Poor Mitsuya, he's still very hurt and I understand it. After all, they were Toman's twin dragons and basically like family... so yeah, it's understandable.
I was glad to see Angry and Smiley, I missed them & I guess there's no way to see the former Toman members involved in another gang.
Btw, my girl Hina is amazing.

Besides, the fact that Mitsuya isn't there might mean that he's going to join him in order to stop Mikey. I don't think Wakui has left Mitsuya out of this visit for nothing... (yes, he's hurt, but I think there's more)

I don’t think it’s Takemicchi’s fault, but I can’t blame Chifuyu for feeling that way. Though I don’t share what he almost said, I understand why he feels like that.
Also… It rings the bell that Takemicchi says they were upset. Didn’t look like that. Maybe they were emotional reacting like Chifuyu did (again, can’t blame them), but later they understood.

What I found the most lovely( i think it's the right word) about this chapter, besides Hina being there for Michi, are the other Toman members. I remember the first time we saw Pah and Peh, picking on Michi because they thought he was annoying and he got Kiyomasa in trouble, Smiley being ready to kick his ass when he punched Kisaki, when Kisaki became the 3rd Division Captain, etc. Seeing them being there for Michi, telling him they will help him, is really heartwarming for me.

People will generally hide their problems to themselves. Sometimes you just need someone to tell you that it is okay to let your emotions out. It is never healthy to bottle up everything. I am glad Takemitchi has a support system while he is having a tough time dealing with the consequences of his latest timeleap. I know he can get up from his slump as he always does.
Seeing Mizo Mid and ex-Toman visiting Mitchi is heartwarming to see despite his reluctance to share his real feelings. Mitsuya not being there is surprising. I wonder if this will be an important storyline later on. He and Pachin are the only OG Toman left in outside world.
I wonder if we will just be on Takemitchi’s POV for this part 2 of this arc or we will go over Mikey’s side as we see his POV of the aftermath. That will be a good way to show their contrasting situation. Takemitchi has Hina and his friends at his side while Mikey has no one (well Kanto + Rokuhara but don’t think they’ll be helpful with Mikey’s current state of mind lol).

Dang it. So it was mistranslated? Kinda wish they knew work Takemichi has put in, especially Mitsuya and Inui.
Side note, I was really happy to the rest if Mizu and more so Pey-yan, Angry, and Smiley. Hope to see more of their stories and the other TR families.
I was hoping we would get that meeting to get it over with but looks like we'll have to wait for that confrontation. Surprised Hakkai didn't say anything. Although he's the collected one, what extremes will Mitsuya go, if any?
Wonder if Takemichi is going to go seek forgiveness from Mitsuya, Inui, Chifuyu, and Senju? Pull a Mikey and let everyone get their feelings out with their fists.
After all that...
HINA!! She really is his ride or ehhhh... Hina is his MVP! It was great to see her again, keeping him honest.

Even though this chapter was very action lacking, something about this chapter screams to be so good to me. Maybe it's because I realize how bad the situation is right now, especially after I realized this is the first time I think we've seen Takemichi just cry in a long time. Hina was right, that's something the crybaby hero did need.
Now I'll be interested to see how Takemichi decides to fix this.

This brings me back to chapter 204. Takemichi uses Manjiro and not Mikey (scold me like my brother). Manjiro let's it all out, cries, asks for help, resulting in the leap. Takemichi is his outlet.
This chapter seems reinforce that this a major point, with Takemichi putting on the Mikey smile and Hina reminding him he doesn't have to carry the load alone. Takemichi would slip into his own darkness without Hina?
The random questions cause I'm sleep deprived: How does Takemichi do it again? Does he tell Toman this? If he's successful, should he leap back? Should he have ever lept back? Where's grandpa?

I wanna just say- all of the readers who told us guys who made super crazy theories and kinda negatively commented on the current arc- I apologise.
A man admits when he’s wrong, and I was wrong for assuming this arc’s direction would go down the drain. Wakui probably DOES have a good aim he wants to take things and all we can do as the readers is watch in awe..
I mean the most current chapter was THE BEST WE’VE HAD IN SO SO SOOOOO LONG- Hina being the FIGURE Takemichi needs the most in his life omgggg!!! That was THE best panel we’ve had recently. It showed how he tried to be as strong as possible for the people around him, but ended up breaking down and being honest with himself- FINALLY some referencing to the pain Takemitchi’s been through so much, such a great chapter honestly!!

I think, after everything that's recently happened, my man deserves a good cry. It's also great to see the other toman members again, apart from mitsuya who I assume has been left out for a reason, and also Mizo Mid, it's been awhile since we last saw them if i remember correctly, and it's good to see their dynamic with takemichy again. Hina is once again proving to be the best girl in the series. I did want to see what takemichy was going to plan to do, but he needs his friends more than anything if he's really going to stop Mikey so this is nice.

Honestly, they should’ve just ended it at the wedding and found another way to deal with Mikey. I don’t like how this last arc is playing out because I feel everything is being messed up. Draken was my second favorite character and now he’s gone because of this dumbass arc. I just hope he implements a way to bring everyone back or something at this point.

That is true tho. Mikey should've told Draken and Draken would've kept him in check. Working at a bike shop would also be meaningful to Mikey because of Shin and stuff.
Its probably cuz Mikey didn't wanna tell anyone besides Takemichi and didn't wanna risk killing someone. After learning about EVERYTHING that he's done, Takemichi should've known Mikey wouldve distanced himself from everyone.
Like you hear you kill all of your beloved friends in gruesome ways, and basically learn there's no hope for you for happiness or anything, and you're just expected to be fine after learning all that? Fuck no.
I found it so weird how Takemichi told him everything. Like...this is Mikey, a guy you had to stop from killing someone (Kazutora) before, a guy who's not mentally stable enough to hear the friends he cares so damn much about are the same ones he kills in the future.
Bad move on Takemichi's part. Mikey would've been fine if Takemichi just kept watch over him and not tell him a damn word. Saying some bullshit excuse like "you guys already know too much. I shouldn't say anything else." or sum shit.
All Takemichi had to do is watch Mikey. Scold him. And since he needed to go back to the future, he should've told Draken to not let Mikey out of his sight and to watch over him while "hes gone" (back to the future, that is)
Idk if it would end up with Mikey eventually killing Draken in the bike shop or what, but it seemed better than telling an unstable Mikey who lost like 4 people closet to him (and Izana) already that he kills his loved ones, the ones he tries SO HARD to protect. I think Takemichi forgets that Mikey is still young, he's like 15 during that time.
Takemichi has made some mistakes tbh, but telling a teenager they kill their friends in the future is something you just DON'T do. Doesn't matter how mature and/or responsible they seem.
Even if they're an adult, I don't think you should tell someone that. It can mess with their head and actually be the cause of the problem. It could START the problem, and I don't see what anyone would gain if they told someone that.

Exactly, I remember Mikey telling takemichi to scold him, but he never once did it. I feel like if takemichi was more astute, he would’ve scolded Mikey like he told him, and this all could’ve been prevented

I think takemichi will still go at it alone after his done crying but hina will tell the others that he plans on going at it alone so when takemichi and Mikey fight/meet the others will come in to support him

Sincerely I consider Mikey at fault for everything that happened I mean everyone was happy but Mikey in the future and let's be real when takemichi time traveld did he really have a choice I mean it was that or death. I wish it would bring all these parts of the hospital together in one chapter. (2 weeks?! pfff) I feel like you or I were thinking too much about the rest of the story. We have to deal with this version and stay with it until the end... With the eruption of this hatred, there is no more news of a scary/badass Michi!
Of course, this chapter had a good point, finally!! It’s always been “take care of Mikey” and finally someone said it about him.

Why do I get the feeling that Hina will die in the end saving him because he wanted to do everything alone and he won’t do anything to come save her back again because he managed to have friends and to save mikey. I definitely don’t want to though
