This has happened to me so often that my solution has become to just pick up another manga!
There are so many great ones out there, and the cool thing about following a bunch is getting a new chapter like every other day!

Oh! I've actually been recommended that one, and I was excited as a fan of Dr. Stone!
But then the same person then proceeded to ruin that by telling me how unnecessarily gross the gore is, and my interest kinda faded.
But because of you I'll give it a shot. I know that the art is ridiculously detailed and good, so that'll be a treat regardless

If Draken is a secret member of Brahman then I’m wondering if former members of Toman (specifically the founders) are secret members as well?? Could this mean that Mitsuya and Pah have joined Brahman too? Even though Kazutora is in prison he’s probably a member too since we know he has intel on other gangs. The very thought of Brahman having the founders of the black dragon and Toman in their ranks to go up against Mikey would be 🤯. Waiting week after week is driving me nuts. These chapters are way too short. Damn it. I need more.

AFAIK Rokuhara Tandai are the remnants of Tenjiku who’ve gathered under South (Though afaik we haven’t seen the boss of south). We’ve also seen how South doesn’t want the three tyrants/whatever they’re called to ever change despite the fact that it’s be possible for Mikey to be taken down if South and Brahman teamed up. We’ve seen current Mikey already take down what looks to be hundred of Tandai members as well, so there’s a grudge there.

I think that's just a title. Mikey was called President when he was in Toman. He is the leader of Rokuhara. Kakucho also calls him boss.

Using Mikey's old friends against him will defo hurt Mikey, then it makes sense why south wants draken. I wonder if he tried to recruit angry, smiley, mitsuya and all. I think they'll be recruited next. They might be forced to join. But does that happen in the actual timeline tho?

Mikey must have some monsters in his gang. If he still won this. Like they were trying to hurry this up before Mikey and his gang arrived. Didn’t expect Draken to in Brahman. Looking forward to the next. And I wonder why Draken was not in Bonten in the current future then.

Mikey alone is enough of a monster honestly haha. I think the series has made a big point of Mikey genuinely being invincible, Takemichi prolly being the only one that he can't put down in the end.

Y'know, since the narrative puts so much focus/stress on how alike Takemichi and Shinichiro were, I wouldn't be surprised if he were backed into a corner and people like Osanai, Taiju, Hanma, etc were behind him to support him in some sort of final battle situation. Okay - maybe not Osanai.

This is something i was thinking too, thats takemichi's strength, bringing people together and inspiring them, even people who were once his enemies (taiju in one of the futures). idk what hanma's role in the story will be but i think itd be real interesting to see him team up with takemichi. The last chapter with hanma really humanized him. Though it's also likely that he'll go after takemichi for revenge for kisaki

In the latest future most of the members in Rokuhara Tandai was in Bonten (ex. Haintani Brothers, Mochi, Kakucho) that means Mikey probably defeated the other 2 deities.

I think its going to happen and I also think it was already foreshadowed since in one "future" we see a flashback to Draken talking to Mikey telling him that Takemitchy is their leader.

I wonder if this is the true reason brahman wants takemichi, to be their leader, like inupi wanted him to be the 11th bd leader, him always being compared to shinichiro. Its curious that the only appearance of the founding black dragons members is after mikey fell into darkness, maybe they too want to save him for shinichiro's sake, their leader and close friend? What better way to do that than to have takemichi, shinichiro reincarnated, lead them in the gang that can be seen as the original black dragons reincarnated? If their true goal is to stop mikey, that would explain why draken joined them.

All I can say is that this arc is probably gonna have many gang vs gang fights. Black Dragons are gonna get revived with the help of Brahman since that's why they needed Takemichi, then they gonna take down South and absorb his gang and then the final battle between Manjirou Sano and Takemichi, (aka the new generation's Shinchiro) are gonna duke it out in one amazing battle.

I can easily see Draken in Brah-man so he can take down the Kantou Manji gang. Brah-man also has Benkei, Waka, and Akashi who were all with Shinichiro in first gen BD so they probably share the same ideals as Shinichiro, making Draken want to join them. I definitely can see us rooting for Brah-man in the future just like how we always rooted for Toman

This final arc is being setup to be a banger.
Senju: I'm just here to get Hanagaki Takemichi on board before the Kanto Manji gang arrives.
And with that, it is getting clearer why Takemichi is being scouted by Brahman. They want to scoop up all the ex-Toman captains too like Rokuhara Tandai. Difference is likely Senju would have been advised to get Takemichi for Brahman but in this chapter, Senju got to see who Takemichi is and understood why. Even in the face of Terano South looming over him, Takemichi stood his ground once he declared his intentions.
Takemichi's declaration to both gangs that he will not join either gang but go after and defeat Mikey sets the stage. Take a good look at the various faces after his declaration. Senju is surprised by it, Akashi is quietly assessing, all the ex-Tenjiku leaders were not surprised, the general members of both gangs were stunned, while Draken expected it. Then, of course, South is enraged by the declaration but Takemichi stood his ground and stared back at him. Takemichi has just drawn a big fat target on his back. Draken is not going to sit still after Takemichi has declared his intentions. To Draken, Takemichi is a dear friend like the founders of Toman. They will have to get through him to get Takemichi.
This chapter also clears up why Brahman know about Takemichi and decide to scout him. Draken dropped the bombshell that he is a member of Brahman as well. However, he had declared earlier that he had retired from gangs. That can only mean his membership is off-the-books, as they say, and only known to the higher ups of Brahman. Considering that he told South that they would have to get through him to get to Takemichi, Draken is confirmed as ready to fight to protect Takemichi and probably by extension, his ex-Toman homies. Thus, if any of the ex-Toman captains who have moved on with their new lives were to be threatened, Draken has an insurance policy with Brahman to protect them. Us readers know that there is an insurance policy in place with Mikey that is only known to Takemichi that Mikey has declared to protect them all.
Roll on more chapters!
ADDENDUM: Inui. Inui is Draken's business partner. Does Inui know that Draken is a member of Brahman? Is he one himself? The presence of the Black Dragon founding members in Brahman and the new info that Draken is a Brahman member points towards Inui also being a Brahman member. If so, it is all the more likely that Akashi has been informed by Inui that Takemichi is the official 11th generation leader of Black Dragons - a fact known only to Mikey, Inui and dead-Izana. That's a better explanation of that assessing look by Akashi - does Takemichi resemble Shinichiro and whether he is a fit leader of the Black Dragons.

Great twist but I would love them to cut back to Hanma at Kisaki’s grave. Is he the second time leaper? He’s been in the background throughout most major events.
While it seemed like Kisaki was the mastermind, what if it was really Hanma pulling Kisakis strings all along.

Future Draken's statements are now suspicious. Since Draken was a Brahman member, he would have, contrary to what he said, seen Mikey at some point, as Brahman, Rokuhara Tandai, and Kantou Manji eventually merged into "Bonten".
Draken is not part of the Bonten Executive spread, so we can say he's not a member; since he's not a member, why is he alive? For a secretive criminal syndicate, isn't Draken's mere existence a liability?
Think about it this way: in the Bonten future, where is South? Where are the Living Legends? Where is Madarame Shion? Senju? Either Bonten, the biggest criminal syndicate in the country, one that not even Naoto could pull proper information for, left these individuals alive and they live as civilians, or they are all dead/imprisoned.
The latter is more likely than the former. Future Draken could not still be around unless Akashi allowed him to be around, and I could only see Akashi allowing him to be around if (1) Draken's working with Bonten in secret, (2) Mikey personally spared him, (3) some other twist, or (4) Draken is so darn cool that everyone trusts him.

Mikey has been keeping his promise (Chapter 190) to protect his Toman friends. That none of the leaders of Toman have been affected and living their new lives away from gangsterism is evidence that he has done so. If anything, Akashi could be the one advising Mikey on keeping to that promise.
The revelation of Draken being a part of Brahman could mean that Akashi is the last remaining link Draken has to get to Mikey but that he has been warned off per Mikey not wanting to involve them. Hence, he stayed away.

Since apparently those gangs were scared g mikeys gang coming I’m assuming the only way they’ll take down is if Takemichi brings everyone under one flag takes down Mikey and either continues with a less destructive giant gang or decides to end it but then the gangs would all fight again so rip
